All always busy place that serves up basic diner food. Service is generally good, friendly and food comes out in a reasonable time. The coffee is surprisingly good, omeletes are well made but anything other than over easy eggs seem to mess them up. Avoid the corned beef hash which tastes like it came from a can. Pretty good pancakes though.
I am usually not a difficult person to please, as long as I am fed. But I was not impressed with my food. My matzo ball soup did not taste right, and my pudding tasted spoiled. And even my sandwich did not taste right. But I did not complain because I usually do not like to cause trouble. The place did look nice, and the people seemed friendly. And I am not in any way telling people not to go there.
Diner has no bar and serves no alcohol. Service was awful. My wife ordered an egg white omelet and was given a regular one. My mother in law ordered whole wheat toast and it was never served. I asked for no hash browns but got them anyway. Coffee was filled and a metal container was brought out. Great creamer! Nope, hot water for tea? Nopejust a container of more hot coffee. Had to request to have creamer and/or milk brought to the table. When my wife asked how their milk shakes were the server said "Not great we don't have all the good stuff to make it here.". In her defense she was right..it was terrible
Not a very warm welcome, server threw menus on the table. Food tasted decent but that didn’t matter after a bug that looked like a mini roach fell off of my chicken! Server apologized, manager BARELY apologized, took $10 off my bill, no offer of a complimentary next time I️ come in (and I️ won’t be going back), no real concern shown. Manager didn’t even speak when we left, she pretended she was fixing her hair and didn’t see me. Very snobby attitude, terrible
Excellent service even though it was very busy. Food was awesome! So delicious and so much! You get Soup AND Salad, your dinner, PLUS any dessert. We will go back!
Ordered Italian omelette had marina as our server. Great job food was great and do was the service. Prices are competitive. Great experience.
After the below had happened, they made it right! What a wonderful job they did handling the below situation! We will be back for sure!!
I've been going to this diner for years about twice a week. Just had the most horrible experience. My husband and I didn't prefer the seat shown to us by the very young hostess (apparently which was the manager on duty). When we asked to sit in a different seat, the hostess gave a dirty look ( am not mistaken about that). When she was approached about her behavior, she dropped th "F" bomb and told us she didn't need us as customers! Bye-bye Bridgewater diner!
A Gem. Stopped here because I read a positive review, ( three or us) what a great place. Food was excellent, pea soup out of this world. Waitress was pleasant, and when I told the owner ( Nuely) that my granddaughter LOVED the pea soup he told Nicole our waitress to go get three pea soup for us NO CHARGE. I will return. Prices very reasonable.
The food was excellent. The service was great. I guess i did not get the douche from the previous review. My waiter was very friendly. The portions are great. We brought home so much food.
Love the dinner there but they can do better for breakfast. Still good overall.
Arrived at nonpeak hours. Waitress gave my party the lunch menus rather than dinner.
Neglected to take our drink orders while we browsed the menus.
Food arrived moderately fast. Food was average. Presentation was all over the place.
Ordered a chicken sandwich. Came as an open face sandwich with about 10 fries jammed into the bun and cheese. Had to play mad scientist to get it to close.
Good diner food. Nothing too fancy but good cheap and fast. Minus one star for being a bit if a pain to get to in the middle of rt 22.
We've had many lunches and dinners with our clients as well as other social gatherings here. Both staff and food are above board. Management is great. Old time favorite who used to work at the Sunset Diner many years ago now works at the Bridgewater Diner we're happy to see as well.
Love the northern Diner atmosphere, and living down south now, nobody does diner like NYC & Jersey. Ample portions. Plan on waiting for your table, and taking some with you. As I said, AMPLE portions!
