Horrible experience! Jodi at White was sweet but then told me to go to her other store in West Ashley because they had more dressesThey were attentive and nice until I ordered my dress. After I gave them a deposit it went all bad. I never saw the girl again who sold me the dress!!! I was told my dress would be in at the end of July, then middle of Augustit was mid September and I had to call over 4 times! And when I finally got the dress in, the girls that were at the store had there boyfriend there, one was on her cell phone, and kept telling me that I owed a remainder balance and that there was no refund - 4 times. Very unprofessional! The hook on the dress broke, they told me that I had to drive 10 minutes away to a seamstress (I was told when I bought the dress that they were on site).When I was leaving the girl told me that brides were acting awful that day and that she was having a bad day, WHAT! I was also told that the dress alterations were going to be $300 and when I went to the alterations place they said over $500! So I'm selling my dress and feel totally ripped off! Not even a follow up phone call! I'm so upset about how I was treated! I want others to take note that once you pay for the dress expect NO ONE to give you any personalized service. Buyers beware!

I highly recommend! Rachel was fantastic! She was very helpful and listened to what kind of dress I was looking for. She found mutiple dresses that I loved so I had to pick! I had options! After looking all over Charleston I finally found the dress! Such a great relief with all that goes into planning a wedding. Thank you!

I will never go back there looking for a bridal, bridesmaid, or even prom dress. It was the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. There's a certain way to talk to people, and get your point across without being nasty or rude, and they need to learn it. You're in the business of CUSTOMER SERVICE, so learn to treat your customers with respect.

Lovely bridal salon! Beautiful gowns and wonderful consultants! They don't over book and at every appointment, I felt like they actually cared about me and my big day! Betsy is the best, working with her was like working with an old friend! I highly recommend visiting this beautiful shop! You will not be disappointed!!

I just wanted to tell you how WONDERFUL of an experience I had at your salon this past Saturday, 4/15. I had a 1030am appt, and came from Beaufort. The bridesmaids that were supposed to join me had a family emergency, so I was by myself. I had found "a dress" at David's Bridal, my first day looking. But knew I had to go to at least 1 or 2 more places to be sure. And after a month, a day spent at a different salon trying on dresses, I was started to get a little stressed about it. Rachel was who helped me, and she was absolutely amazing!! She listened to me babble on and on about different styles, about "way back when" (20+yrs ago) I worked at a Bridal Salon myself. She pulled approx 8-10 dresses for me try on. Getting to the point, I found my dress!! And not only did I find my dress, but it fit and was a discontinued dress. It made me "feel pretty" and like a bride. She didn't push me, didn't lie and tell me on of the more expensive gowns looked better. She smiled, and told me the truth. She let me take a picture, and try it on a 2nd time. I immediately decided to buy it. I decided not wait, not just because of the dress, but because of her. She never rushed me, told me I could call back at the end of day if I wanted to think aboutshe was perfect. And when she hugged me before I left, I think I held on a minute or 2 longer than she expected, because of how happy I was and grateful she was there to help. I would HIGHLY recommend your salon to ANYONE for their special day. I just wanted to say thank you, and to Rachel, for making my experience special!!

Purchased my wedding gown for Jody's and it was an amazing experience. I had tried on 40-50 dresses with no luck, but Jody's had my perfect dress. The staff was so friendly and willing to help. I traveled from Knoxville, so I needed to be able to take my dress home with me and the staff made it happen. Highly recommend.

I loved buying my dress here! The staff was not overbearing but they were still attentive. Definitely ran into that at other stores but not here! The ordering process was easy and we had absolutely no issue in ordering. The store will stem/press your dress the week before the wedding for free if you bring it back in - great service!
