Brews is now closed
like the occasional beer and this place has no match within 30 miles maybe further. I am always amazed at the servers knowledge of the beer menu. The menu is diverse so if you have a group I think most people could find something they like. My opinion of the food overall is that it is average. I would go here a lot more but I think the service is severely lacking on a constant basis. When Dennison is in session there can be quite the wait.
My wife and I have eaten here several times, and it's always been great. The salads and wraps are two of our favorite selections. We were really disappointed to discover they're temporarily closed, and we're looking forward to going back as soon as they re-open.
We've tried Brews twice and both times the service was poor and the food was nothing special. With spectacular options for food on the same side of the road, Brews does not hold up. Skip it and hit the pub or Moes.
We had a party of 8 last night at Brews. It was our first time there. We only waited 15 mins to be seated, the service was impeccable, and the food was great! We will definately be returning :)
I was completely disappointed in our experience yesterday. I went to Denison and used to love this place. I don't know what happened to it since. We were there during Sunday lunch rush. It was not busy at all. We met some friends and had 4 kids including two infants amongst us. We waited over an hour for our food and when it came it was extremely overcooked. My burger was burnt and the mushrooms couldn't even be chewed. My husband's fish and chips was dry and brittle. I apologetically mentioned this to our waitress who then got the manager. Rather than take our word for it, she wanted to inspect our plates. Slightly uncomfortable. In the end the manager never came to see us. She contacts of my husband's meal and my sons kids macaroni and cheese. We then waited another 20 minutes to get our checks. I don't think we will be returning any time soon.
