Great time! Snow was good despite a recent dry pattern. Employees were friendly. Do be prepared to sacrifice your first born if you plan to have lunch there! Burger and fries about $14 plus $7 for a fountain drink. It's like a Western Walt Disney. But a great place overall!
Good customer service however their ski selection is somewhat lacking. Couldn't find any on-piste skies and they barely had any All Mountain skis. That said if you are looking for Freeride skis you'll probably be fine. Most places offer a 20% discount, including this one of you book online. Some actually honor 20% off rentals just by asking.
One of the better ski hills around. Gondola in town for easy access. Lots and lots of varied terrain. Tons of lifts. Highest resort in North America so it's cold but the snow stays fresh. Very good signage and plentiful, friendly staff. If you can't find runs you love, you're not looking.
Staff are super friendly and accommodating. My friends and I took a beginners snowboarding lesson and the instructor busted his ass to make sure we felt safe and stable with every move he taught us. So appreciated when you're gaining the confidence to snowboard for the first time! We visited the weekend after Thanksgiving and while there wasn't a ton of snow, there were a ton of people there to enjoy what was out!
Great little get away. Only 2 slopes open in middle November but perfect if you are a beginners, as the slopes are green and blue. Not good if you are learning to ski however, because of the large crowd. Gondola was closed from town the morning of but accommodations with continuous bus pickup was available making it easy to get up the mountain to ski.
The mountains encompassing and above the ski area at the resort is beautiful and compelling. Climbing over that mountain from Copper Mountain down to Breckenridge gives you an opportunity to see elk, moose, and have a spectacular hike! I recommend it only for the hardiest souls.
Summer activities area is poorly structured and doesn't offer reasonable approaches for kids to do things they want. Most activities require an expensive multi-activity pass where most of the activities are not appropriate for young kids or not of interest.
Requiring liability releases for simple mini golf is ridiculous and frustrating after waiting to buy tickets only to be told to go to the back of the line to complete the forms.
Beautiful views, great room and good staff. Only downfall is walls are relatively thin and you can hear people in other units. We stayed in a 2 story unit which was amazing and very homey.
While I had a fantastic time, this is definitely a place aimed more towards families with young children. Neither the roller coaster nor the slide are especially thrilling - but I imagine if we'd got to try the zip line it would've made up for it! It was closed while I was there. The lifts, however, are comfortable as hell! And the views from the lookout towers up top are breathtaking.
Cool place. Really enjoyed skiing this location. Didn't get a chance to do half the runs but nevertheless, was incredible boarding and a ton of fun. Parking was pretty easy. Couple large lots at the base of the resort with Gondola lift taking you to the ticket area.
This place is amazing, facilities and services were on point. Everyone was very friendly and nice. Had amazing time skiing. Enjoyed the whole stay here. Thank you Ryan for the great service. Highly recommend this place. will definitely be back.
Great beginner ski resort for the whole family. Peak 9 is a great place to get started. After that step up and try the high mountain on chair 6 or the imperial lift.
For skiing and snowboarding this place is fantastic. The lifts are comfortable and fast. You can get a lot of runs in and spend the majority of your time on the slopes instead of waiting in lines or sitting on the lift. The runs are all well maintained and there are lots of options. There are a few terrain parks, mostly larger bigger ones for more advanced riders. Food at the lodges is very expensive though so bring your own!
This is simply a phenomenal resort. The mountain is huge (5 peaks) and very nicely laid out -- for example, Peak 7 has all blue runs and Peak 10 has all black runs. The lifts are large, fast, and get you where you need to go. There are lots of terrific, wide, great cruisers. Excellent mountain. We love Breckenridge!
We came in March after a warm winter. I did not expect much as this is less than ideal conditions, but the terrain was excellent, the snow surprisingly good, and the mountain was excellent. We had fun in the bars and on the slopes. This year, 2017, they could use some fresh snow, but even still, it was a great time. On a good snow year this place would be hard to beat.
