This place is great! Plenty of really cool animals and it's all for a good cause. These animals are rescued and bred for repopulating. It's a great little gem. I've lived in the area my whole life and never knew about this place. You get right up close to most of the animals and the kids will love it.

Boulder Ridge is known as one of the hidden gems of West Michigan for a reason. From small spiders, frogs, monkeys, and baby alligators, to large snakes, ostriches, adult alligators and giraffes! Walk into the screened in area with inquisitive birds, it's an experience you won't forget, same goes for the safari themed bus tour. There really is something for everyone here! Feed the animals for a minimal charge its worth it! Parking might be challenging, but don't let the crowded parking discourage you. The grounds feature some rides, plenty of tables under covered spaces for a picnic lunch, and is nicely spaced out and easy to come back to animal exhibits that might have been too busy at the time. Boulder Ridge is ultimately a place to enjoy with your family, and appreciate nature from all over the world.

I really liked that you can get so close to the animals! A lot of different animals and the Safari ride was very educational. There were a lot of cute baby animals!
I thought some of the enclosures were a little small. You have to pay for food to feed the animals, but you can feed a lot of different animals with it.
Overall, very educational, clean, and fun.

Loved feeding all the animals and the mining. Bring extra cash for that stuff. The $$ adds up, but we had so much fun. Lots of baby animals too. LOVED the baby ostriches. The were adorable and seemed to be showing off for the crowd.

This is a nice place to spend some time with the family. You can bring in your own food and beverages which is awesome! They have a "safari" tour bus that takes you around to see a lot of the animals. The kids can feed giraffes, camels, kangaroos, etc and there is a really cool bird cage where the birds will land on you to eat from a sick you hold with bird seed on it. If you're interested in this place I would definitely recommend checking it out.
