My family and I decided to treat ourselves to a Christmas dinner and found out Boudros had a barge to eat dinner on the river and learn about the surroundings. The group we were with thought they owned the entire barge and were partying and being loud/obnoxious (made it a little hard for my family and I to converse and hear our tour guide). Our server took great care of us (seeing all the above). Even though we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and loved our meal (delicious!), our server and his manager took us aside later and treated us to some champagne and a quiet riverside table. They are very aware of their customers comfort and quality of experience! They have high standards and they stick to them! Please visit!

The food was delicious! We got their salmon, prime rib, and rosemary chicken and we had no complaints with any of the dishes. They were all very well seasoned, extremely fresh and tasty. We are very happy with the meals! If there was an option to give the place a 4.5, I would! If you're out on the river walk and you want a delicious meal, I highly recommend this place! :)

Enjoyed a great steak spiced just right. The view sitting on the river walk at night is fabulous. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, and part ofnthe indoor is just inside with an open wall, so it's a taste of both. The indoor seating is very elegant.

We walked in about 10 pm on a Thursday. The patio along the river walk was full, so we ate inside. The place is very lively with great ambience. We were served water and drinks right away. We had dinner earlier, so only had appetizers. I highly recommend the guacamole which is made fresh off a cart right in front of you. It was fantastic!. We also had the scallops and deep fried oysters. Everything was fabulous with great presentation. Definitely want to go back for a steak dinner. Great service, food, location and atmosphere. I highly recommend this place if you are in San Antonio.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! We were seated quickly and or server was very attentive and helpful in answering our questions about the menu despite the fact it was crazy busy. We sat outside and even with the tables in close proximity the atmosphere is very romantic.
Their guacamole is made table side and is incredible. The prickly pear margarita is one of the best margaritas I have ever had my husband had their steak and lobster and couldn't stop raving about the flavor of the lobster. I had the duck 3 ways and all of it was so good!
If you are torn between restaurant choice STOP RIGHT NOW and go here!

My fiancee and I dined here late in the evening. We were seated promptly right at a table on the Riverwalk; the service was great. I ordered the blackened prime rib, garlic mashed potatoes and vegetables & my finance ordered the Rib eye with the same sides. Both cuts of meat were cooked perfectly and the sides were tasty. We also ordered two Texas teas and the waiter substituted tequila for Meyers rum; they were good. :) Recommended.

People were extremely welcoming. Our waitress could have been more personable. The guacamole salad is a salad so don’t expect regular guacamole. Great experience watching them preparing it in front of us. The rest of the food was average nothing to rave about. We had the coconut shrimp and the shrimp enchiladas. Cocktails were average also average.
Overall this restaurant isn’t worth the $100 dinner.

Came here tonight after looking at rave reviews for the food! It was my first anniversary and I was very excited. We walked in and we're seated at a small table in the corner looking out at the water which would have been very romantic except the decor here is old and kind of gross. The floor tile looks like something you'd find in the bathrooms of the YMCA, the chairs are old, stained and falling apart and the table decor is seriously lacking. There's one nice corner of the restaurant and that's the pictures online. But, that's no where near as important to me as food so I wanted to stay knowing the reviews were mostly about how great the food is. My husband really was looking forward to the lamb, only to discover they didn't even have any lamb. Again, not a huge deal but disappointing.

I ended up getting the wood fired salmon which was delicious if a tad over cooked and my husband got the duck 3 ways. The duck enchilada was just duck covered in a tortilla and barbecue sauce basically. The spring roll was the only part of the dish not over cooked and even though the sauces were really good (sans the BBQ), and luckily he loved the spring roll.

The food ended up being nothing to write home about overall and the waiter was inattentive even though the restaurant was pretty empty. I wish I had spent my anniversary elsewhere. Even if it wasn't that bad, I was looking for something much better than what we got tonight.

I visited this place many years ago yet I could never forget it. It was been one of my best memories from my first time visit to San Antonio. So naturally when I was in town it was a location not to be missed. We had not made reservations but we're able to get a table. If you do however want to be seated right along side the river I recommend making reservations. The goal here is simple. Eat the best Table side Guacamole ever. Ladies and Gentlemen, I take my Guacamole very serious and on a quest of many years have never found one as great as theirs! It was all I had to eat there for this visit and it was simply perfection.

The location of the restaurant is very nice if you want to dine on the Riverwalk in San Antonio. The restaurant stays relatively busy and is a popular location for special dining outs, with locals and tourists alike. I went there with my girlfriend and it did not take us long to be seated. We opted to dine inside as dining outdoors on the Riverwalk has a tendency to invite our local pigeons and rodents. The wait staff is attentive and the price is in line with what you would expect to pay at a tourist eatery (which is pricey). I ordered the Cajun blackened steak and my girlfriend ordered enchiladas. Where we were seated allowed me a direct view into the kitchen. I witnessed employees that were not chefs using their bare hands to prepare the nacho appetizers. I noticed employees were not wearing hair nets. One employee wiped his hand across his brow and went back to preparing the nachos. The floor was covered in crumbs and was in need of sweeping. After observing this for roughly 15 minutes, our food arrived. My steak was tasty and met my expectations. It was well-seasoned and was a good portion for the price. My girlfriend initially enjoyed her enchiladas until she pulled a long hair from INSIDE her enchilada. Needless to say, she did not finish the plate and we were compensated for her meal as it was written off. The tastes were good but I suspect there is a problem with there sanitation.

Great sea cakes and service. They prepare guacamole at table side and the atmosphere is great. You can sit against the rail overlooking the water, but don't feed the ducks. Even on a hot Texas day, the air is pleasantly cool along the Riverwalk and Boudro's is a great place to spend and hour. Try their margaritas.

The food was excellent here. Has a nice view if you can score a table along the river walk. The service was very good as well. Reasonable prices for what you are getting. A good date night option.

Always have had great food here and well mixed drinks. Table-side Gauc for two is great. Prickly pear cactus margarita is a standard drink for them, tasty, but a but sweet for me, but they can mix a decent gin martini too. Whether seated inside or out, the place offers a pleasant atmosphere. Well worth the money for good, consistent Yes-Mex food on the river walk.
