An unbelievable, state-of-the-art building with a huge amount of art. Highly recommended. I can't believe this gem is tucked away in our own backyard!

The Booth is among the best art museums in the nation. It specializes in Western art and it's strength is that most of the artists represented in it's galleries are still living.
All of the artists are top tier as the director (Seth Hopkins) is very selective about the art that he allows into the galleries.
The art is representational with some contemporary art in one.of the galleries.

Wow! This is a surprising gem of a museum! The artwork is beautiful - I specially love the Presidents' Room which has signed letters from every American president along with portraits and busts. The Western Landscapes and portraits of historical figures, Indians, and livestock are also amazing! Many famous artists are represented. Smithsonian quality in North Georgia!! Love! ❤️

My friends and I went today specifically to see the Ansel Adams Exhibit. It was my first visit to the entire museum and what a truly impressive structure it is. The Ansel Adams exhibit was amazing, having never before seen photos released by Ansel Family members for the first time.
Of course the museum is famous for its wonderful Western Collection of Bronzes and Paintings. One could spend hours wandering through the exhibits, one of which is a full blown original stage coach. I loved the amazing bronzes of the different Native Americans and western figures. There is so much here for every age group.They offer tours with knowledgeable docents to guide you through the many hallways and rooms . Time would be well spent at this wonderful first class museum . It rivals any museum in the country in design and architecture. Please check it out. This place is really fun. Nice selection of western themed art. You get a little history and there's a place for the kids to play. I've never seen it too crowded, so it's nice to get around and see everything. I really enjoyed Ansel Adams exhibit last time.

Incredible western paintings, posters, and sculptures . This is Smithsonian quality and Association.
This is a destination along with Tellus Museum. Check out their website to see for yourself the Western Park. Also they have a place for the kids to learn and play. Our grandchildren loved it.response / report this review -

A gem of a wonderful museum. Loved the hall of the Presidents, the Ansel Adams exhibit, all of wonderful art and sculptures. The building and setting are gorgeous. I was blown away by this great museum, better than the High.

The museum is fascinating. There is so much to see from artwork, to sculptures, to artifacts, to photographs and more. I did the museum in 2 trips so that I could take it all in. It is wonderful that we have this kind of Museum in the east. I never imagined the breadth and depth of Indian art to be seen in this area. It is appropriate for all ages. My granddaughter's 3rd grade class had come to this Museum on a field trip and she enjoyed it as much as I.

One of the docents is a complete jerk! I was sitting Indian style on a bench and 2 other docents had passed by and not said anything, but this old cowboy looking man told me to get my feet off the bench and I was ruining an antique bench! There wasn't a sign saying I couldn't do this! None of the other docents said anything!! I hope this jerk gets fired for being so rude!

This is a beautiful museum! Beautiful art & a much bigger display than we expected. Allow about 3 hours and enjoy. If you have children, they'll love Sagebush Ranch!
