We shared a memorable evening with dear friends last night. The food was amazing, and the service was the best. (At the end of the evening, everyone was hugging our waiter, John.) The mixed grill and the beef tenderloin were excellent! Great evening.

I can't even begin to put into words how delicious our food was. I have seen Bonnell's for years. And always wondered about it. Then I read some reviews. I thought to myself self "Surely all of these people are exaggerating". So, one day I was searching for a new place to take my wife on a date. This time I decided to take her to Bonnell's, and I made reservations.

Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. It took us a while to decide what we wanted to eat because it all looked so good. We finally decided. My wife ordered the butternut squash soup, and I ordered the Texas Shrimp & Grits as an appetizer. I have never like butternut squash, nor grits. Somehow, both of these were some of the best tastes I have ever experienced. They were both incredible.

For an entree I ordered the pecan crusted reddish, and my wife ordered the grouper, which was the special of the day and with grouper as the main ingredient. I was thinking there was no way the entrees could be better than the appetizers. I was wrong. Both entrees were off the charts in both presentation and taste.

The whole experience was probably the best i have ever had at any restaurant in my life. I can't say enough good things about Bonnell's. I can say this much though - they now have new "regulars". My wife and I plan on returning as often as possible.

My only regret is that I wasted so many years knowing it was there, but not trying it.

Great place. A menu for the extravagant, but also the budget conscient. The oysters we're amazing. I don't even like oysters. Will be going again. No doubt.

Bonnell's is always rated among the best in the Metroplex and deservedly so. I appreciate the fact that there are inexpensive items on the lunch menu to go along with the higher-end menu items. It's all good.

Had the bison buffalo w/asparagus perfection. Quiet , a place to enjoy and really visit. Was able to talk and hear without annoying noise and conversation from other diners and tables. Felt like we had the restaurant all to ourselves.worth every penny

It's been a while since I've been here but my last experience was terrific. I had the southwestern smoked chicken stack. The food was beautiful and soo juicy. I even had a chance to meet with the chef, great guy. I would love to go to this place often but it quite expensive. Nevertheless, it was well worth my money and time.

The staff was very knowledgeable of the menu and presentation was excellent. The atmosphere was pleasant and we were able to converse with our company without interruption. I have recommended this restaurant several times since our visit.

Such good food, and our server was great. I loved the buffalo tenderloin with the truffle fries. The elk mini tacos were great, and I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the mussels. As a birthday treat, I got the tres leches creme brulee and it was FANTASTIC! I ate everything too fast to take pictures.
The restaurant has a quiet, dim atmosphere, with well-dressed waitstaff. Most people were dressed relatively nice, but not necessarily fancy. Overall it was a wonderful dining experience, and I can't wait to go again.

We arrived to Bonnell's 30 minutes before our reservations, AND we were seated early!! The Hostess was very nice as we stood there and small talked a bit. She then seated us in Melanie's section, and there are not enough words to describe how great Melanie was! So sweet and genuine. Such a warm sense of humor and always smiling. We'll definitely go back and we'll be requesting here section, no doubt about it. Thank you Melanie, for such a great experience, being that it was my first time! Thank you, Bonnell's for such great food and service! 5 stars just isn't enough!
