The staff was amazing, but the wait was horrid. We waited and extra hour and 15 minutes beyond our original estimate.
I brought my wife in to check on her coughing for 3+ weeks. We we told an x-ray was warranted, results were negative, all looked good. She was given antibiotic medicine and sent home. The next morning the doctor called and said there was a mass discovered on the x-ray taken the night before and to come in as soon as possible. On the second visit, she was told she may have pneumonia and that an MRI would give a better picture of the mass. At that point, we were given a choice??? Take the MRI now or get more aggressive medication to clear up the infection. Of course we did not want to wait in suspense so opted for the MRI. The doctor told us the results indicated a fat band in the lung that he said was highly unusual and not dangerous and we could not have asked for a better outcome. We were charged $30 for another visit and $100 for the MRI. We did not appreciate the scare tactics to rush us back and pay the unnecessary $100 dollars under the guise that it was our choice, and the $30 for an additional visit for something he missed. The doctor/radiologist should have known better and if he didn't, I doubt we would ever have a choice in the matter. Be wary of smooth talkers after you and your health providers money.
called ahead, was next in line and then they kept taking other walk-ins ahead of me.!!!
Finally brought in and then did not accept my insurance - what a waste of time..!!!!
They are the real deal. Best walk in clinic I have ever been to. From the nurse who served in the military for 6 years, thank you by the way Sir!! The front door staff, the Xray tech, to the Doctor who was a CLASS act. The place was clean and everyone was so friendly. The only place I will ever go again, but not to soon I hope.
Radiology assistants at desk/check in that were on hand when I was here were horrible. They were rude, inefficient, argumentative and displayed absolutely NO customer service skills whatsoever. Perhaps it was training day, but, not a good image to display to your full time residents. Hope they improve, location is good and I have used the lab and pharmacy many times before here.
Beware of their billing processes! On Jan. 30, 2017 my wife visited this Urgent Care Clinic and paid $114.65 for the treatment. Medicare procesed the claim on Feb. 3, 2017, sent them $35.01 and informed my wife that her part of the bill is $82.01. Thus BCHC owed her $32.64.
On Feb. 28, 2017 I contacted their Billing Office and was told they just received the payment fron Medicare that was sent to them on Feb. 3rd, and they will start working on our refund and it will take a month!
Today, Apr. 4, 2017, I again contacted their Billing Office and was told that their CEO signs all refunds and the CEO is currently on vacation and the Billing Office didn't know when the CEO will return!
My question was "If anything happens to the CEO what do they do?" There was no reply!
Great experience- really enjoyed the BCHC smarttime- wait at home and receive text messages to see when we can get in.
Staff is great, friendly and efficient.
Friendly but quick and highly efficient. Probably the best experience I have had with a medical institution
