Very nice well kept walking trails with plenty of wildlife and vegetation to view. Great view of the lagoon with a viewing tower.

Never get tired of spending time walking the trails, and exploring different areas of the Refuge. So lucky to live a few minutes from this gem!

I visited with my church group during a youth retreat. The park is very peaceful & the trails are wide. Has swamps, lagoons, & giant sand dunes with low oak trees. I wish I could have explored all of it, but my group was in a hurry b/c they had to pick up someone. I found 3 perfect scallop shells on the beach, cacti in an abandoned foundation, & nice sand dollar pieces that make for decent skipping stones.

Very nice hike to the beach. Take plenty of water. Hiked from pine beach trail to beach and down to beach parking area and up the road to pine beach trail parking. 4.25 miles
