The staff are welcoming and make you feel comfortable right away. Dr. J took his time to explain the services they provide and got me started right away. I only had my first session so far. I will be back and looking forward to trying a couple other services out. Definitely worth the try.

This place is awesome! Everyone is so nice and welcoming and it’s a very cozy atmosphere. I have had many treatments here and have never been disappointed. I love the idea of reversing aging but not with surgery or invasive procedures—they have non-invasive solutions!!

Everyone is always so nice and welcoming at the Body Refinery. They go all out to give great service. I took my sister for a facial for her birthday. We had Felicia and she was so accommodating and made us feel pampered! We left feeling soooo relaxed 😌

So just had an uncomfortable experience with Body Refinery. I initially came into the place from recommendation online. Everyone was extremely sweet. I was charged $200 for laser hair removal on my face (which was more than I was expecting to pay when I looked on the website) but hey. The next time I came, Dr. J charged me $150 and was confused on why I was charged $200. NEVER did they mention that they had packages for small areas where you can pay $150 for 4 sessions. Mind you I paid $350 all together for my 2 sessions.

So when I booked this last time, I mentioned to them that I wanted to inquire about the packages. The only package I had heard of was with the large area for $750. They let me know that because I didn't ask for it, they didn't give it to me and my next appointment would still be $150. So not only was I overcharged my first session (and no remorse or compensation for that), then because I never "asked", they were going to continue to charge me knowing I had paid well over the amount for a package. Ironically the first time I was in there, they seemed very open to "working" with their white client who was there before me and allowing her to make payments on her package, yet I was being overcharged. It all leaves a very poor taste in my mouth and I can't hep but wonder how much of this has to do with color.

For this alone, I would not recommend this place. I feel taken advantage of. Unfortunately, as a black woman, there are not many options when it comes to laser hair removal, but I would search elsewhere for a location to service you.

Body Refinery is the best place to experience the treatments offered. I’m getting laser treatment for acne scars and getting good results. I would definitely recommend this place. Danielle and Dr J are both very sweet and explain in detail for any questions. The place is very clean and smells so good. Danielle offers best packages for the treatments. Dr J is very knowledgeable and friendly. I can’t recommend enough and there is no room for disappointment!
