  The man that owns the place with his wife is very rude towards patrons if they accidentally break a rule. Also, I feel that they cater more to attendees who have been there a long time rather than campers who want to have some fun. Really boring experience as well as bad kayaks and canoes when it comes to water sports. Very unprofessional in my opinion which really makes it worth the 2 stars.

  If u have kids this is the place to go . Safe friendly well kept verry clean. At any given time u can observe Paul cleaning and picking up paper bottle caps. U can tell they love what they do. and they are very strict when it comes to watching out for and making sure kids are having fun. Amazing experience made us feal very welcome

  Loved the time at Blue Gill Lake. Very family friendly and wonderfully quiet. Other campers were all courteous and nice. Owners always very nice and helpful.

  Worthy of one star only because the campground was clean and had good scenery, and they refunded our money. Other than that I would never recommend this campground to anyone with children, dogs or under the age of 70. The head caretaker is clearly bored 24/7, constantly harassing family's. I witnessed four family's leave the campsite early Saturday morning due to the caretakers and we soon followed. In conclusion if I could leave less than a one star review I would.

  This is an amazing campground with friendly owners. There is something to do for every member of your family from fishing to hiking to swimming to themed weekends Bluegill Lake is the perfect place to catch the fun

  I loved the place. We stayed in site 29. Great view of the lake, shaded, and it was close to the bathroom. The beach was weed free. Me and my kids loved the inflatables. Both owners were helpful. They occasionally didn't charge us for small items from the store and didn't charge us for leaving late. I loved that it was smaller and not busy. I have young kids, so I really appreciated that they enforced quiet time. The place is very peaceful. The only negative thing I have to say was that the bathrooms are a little dated, but they were always clean and well kept. I would definitely go back.

  This campground was great! We spent Labor Day Weekend there. I don't understand all the negative reviews. Our kids had so much fun they are begging to go back. The owners were very nice and not at all like I expected after reading reviews. I am glad we took a chance. Nancy had so many activities for the kids and the beach area was very nice. This is a small scale place and I think people are to spoiled to a bigger park. The restrooms and shower house were clean . I think maybe because its a bit out dated it may make people think its dirty. Its not. It is not a party place and if that what your looking for this is not for you. They had a house fire that's why there's some construction. I heard no hammering or anything. She is not doing that while there are people in the park. Keep the drinking to a minimum and the music low and its fine.We had music playing all weekend and we had light drinking. Noone said a word. Don't let your kids run wild screaming and its fine. In other wordsbe respectful and don't be assholes!

  We loved camping here with our young children. Nancy was very nice and accommodating. There are things that are outdated but you can tell they are working to improve the park. They have crafts and activities for the kids on Saturday. The lake is beautiful and there are inflatables in the lake for kids (and adults too ;). It is very secluded so there wasn't a ton to do on rainy days in the surrounding area but it was still fun.

  The owners of this past are absolutely terrible. They currently have 4 court cases against them for kicking people out and not refunding money. They are money hungry people. They do not allow noise at any time of the day. If you play cornhole too loud in the middle of the day they will kick you out with no warning and no refund. It doesn't matter what you sign in your contract, if he doesn't like you, he will kick you out for any reason. This is not a good family campground. More like a retirement home.

  My family and I stay at bluegill every year and at least 5 or more times during each year! Bluegill is the most beautiful camp ground around and the most peaceful! The owners are wonderful and always make sure their guest are happy! We can always count on peaceful nights and happy people!
  Honestly I can't say enough great things about bluegill, if you haven't visited them please do so!! You will be very happy you did!
