I've been here several times over the last couple decades and never felt the owner was very helpful or friendly. A number of cycling friends I've talked to say the same thing. I initially gave them a one star rating but bumped it up to a 2 star as they do some nice community work.

I just picked up my Schwinn bicycle from Blue Moon. We purchased it from them 11 years ago and I took it in for their $68 check up. It needed to be cleaned up and the gears were getting a little finicky. They replaced the tires, fine tuned the gears, cleaned out all of the years worth of accumulated grit and grime. I expected the price would be higher, due to the fact that they replaced the tires. But I was surprised they only charged me $58!! Just got back from my first ride of the year, and it rides like a new bike. Super happy! It's great to have a bike shop in town, be sure to check them out.
