One word: SEXIST PIGS. Ok, so that is two words. But any woman who hangs out there probably can't count past one
Why do I opine? It's simple. The Male staff are covered, fully dressed in long sleeve shirts and vests. The Female staff seemingly required to wear bras and girdles only!!! I'm talking bras and girdles in the winter. Reminded me of a brothel!
And so it goes, the ratio of men to women was about 4/1. Lots of leering at the female staff going on there. And the dance floor well, yea. That wasn't fun either. It appeared a hired dancer came in to perform. She flounced onto the floor, stepped upon a fabricated dance table and began to twerk or tweek or twinkle? I don't know the proper terminology, so bear with me here. Whatever it was, it involved a lot of gyrating and seizure-like symptoms of the buttocks. People in the crowd put a few one dollar bills in her drawers: And I noticed she kept them. Back and forth, she flounced around the club taking breaks to guzzle booze, smoke a cigar, then back onto the pre-fabricated dance "table". Center of attention. Kinda makes a gal not want to dance anymore.
And so it goes, if you're a lady, and you want to have a Good time Don't go there. The message was loud and clear: WE CATER TO MEN ONLY.
If you're a dude, who likes to chillax with about a hundred other dudes, all leering at the same few hapless (and essentially topless) women, this is your spot!! There's probably a bar stool waiting for you, a stool sandwiched between other dudes. Yay!response / report this review -

Their Sunday Live Band experience with Reminisce is outstanding. Nice grown vibe covering sone of your favorite 80's and 90's R&B hits.

Want to feel empowered, toss ur duties to the side. Check this secret location out. For naughty or nice they are all welcomed here. Energy is flawless. Dress to impress, dance the nite away. For this is a Pure Sweet Sensual Seduction of a Location but don't take my word for it, come check it out..

This place SUCKS. Temp inside was about 105, and more people than could fit in comfortably and move around freely. Traffic jams everywhere amd couldn't move. I don't understand why ANYONE would come to a place that made us miserable the entire time we were there.

A special event was happening when we arrived for dinner just after 7 pm. So our seating options were restricted. What REALLY was the worse part of the experience was the amount of time it took to 'be noticed' by any server BEFORE we we're approached to even get water, over 30 minutes!!! Once service began it wasn't too bad, however, AFTER we'd paid the check, I was LEFT waiting AGAIN for another 25 minutes, never heard from the server again, to try to get my food boxed up to bring home. At 9:20pm, I was fed up and FINALLY just left!!! Half of my expensive Brie platter left for the trash! I will NOT be returning. Horrible to have to sit abandoned by staff before and after for more than an hour. Arrived at 7:02 pm, LEFT angrily at 9:27 pm! Absurd for a simple 2 person 'dinner' one drink each and one food order each! NOT worth my 2.5 hours. They weren't even that busy!

My experience here was a surprise, get carded by the bouncer Walk in to pay $10 cover, as soon as it's paid bouncer comes up and says I can't wear a hat (few people inside wearing hats). They suggested I give my hat to the lady taking covers and go into the men's room to gel my hair and comb it I do it, go to the bar and checked the price for a shot of bulliet.. $17 w/no tip yet. At this point I'm trying to understand why it's rated high on Google. First time here and the last I heard they were over priced but I didn't think they would steep so low to take a $10 cover from me and tell me I don't fit dress code. My friends will hear about this.
Also, a group was asking for the manager as I was walking out.. hopefully they'll post there review..response / report this review -

Dropped by for my first time in Downtown Phoenix, AZ .The design of the building caught my eye so I decided to make this my first bar. The bar had an Indie band playing on stage. The music and vibe was very hipster. This is not your typical loud nightclub.There was a small dance floor, a few tables, and some couches. The drinks were at a reasonable price like $6 for a mixed drink. The drinks were good and the bartenders catered to your taste.

It was Monday night and I was driving through High Street and saw a crowd and heard some live music and noticed the Blue Martini. First time here and it was a lot of fun. I love live music. Great band and entertainers!

Great place to grab drinks, they always have a live band or DJ on Friday and Saturday. Definitely upscale and the crowd is not a bunch of twenty somethings. My wife and I always have a good time when we go here, plus the City North location is great.
