Venue is fine. Workers very nice. Food blah. If I am gonna pay 9.50 for 3 stone cold buffalo chicken tenders and fries. Don't twist the knife in further with the 1.00 blue cheese. Come on guys. We will pay the prices. Make sure the food is hot and fresh and fast.
The game experience is always great. Beer selection is getting better. Snack foods are average. But trying to eat a meal here is terrible. The burgers, hot dogs, and fries at the regular concession stands are on par with the quality of dog food.
Great stadium. Amerks are the AHL team and usually pack the house good. Many other events and concerts are held her as well. Parking is decent if you do your homework. It was once just called the Rochester War Memorial until a massive remodel and then it became the Blue Cross Arena at the War Memorial. Definitely a gem in our city.
Great venue, though the parking situation is a little suspect. We saw Trans-Siberian Orchestra and it was awesome. There's really not a bad seat in that arena
Nice arena very helpful staff. We were able to get upgraded tickets last minute even after we were already seated. Seats are very compact and close to each other. Would go back for punt events. Note that parking in the disabled garage does not have an elevator, only stairs to get to the tunnel to cross the steeet.
Nice venue for a show. Good sight lines not a bad seat in the house
While I had no difficulty finding or parking for an event here, I have to wonder who designed this place. The seats around the rink are about 18 inches wide, narrower at the armrests - I broke my phone that was in my pocket trying to squeeze into one, and I'm not that big, if you're taller than about 5'5" and over 100 lbs you won't be comfortable. The armrests were digging into my sides the entire night. The rows are also too close together and they added cup holders on the back side of the seats so you can't spread your legs out, no matter how I sat my knees were jammed into something. One of the bathrooms was the same way, any tighter and you'd be sharing toilets, was hard to get in and out of it.
The food and beverage prices were very high but I expected this, it's typical for these places. $10+ for a 24 ounce beer, water and large soda about $5, most food items $5 and up.
While I enjoyed the concert I attended, I won't return if I can find some sort of alternative for the event I want to see, unless they remodel with at least wider seats.
It's a standard hockey, basketball, and lacrosse arena that also has a concert now and then. Not much to distinguish it, but it's not bad as they go.
Roomy, spacious, and the architectural structure is beautiful yet tastefully done. The lighting and acoustics are second to none. I truly enjoy events that I attend there.
This was one of the best venues I've been to. The bathrooms were clean. Getting into the venue was fast and there was no pushing. We saw tool here and the show itself was amazing.
Nice venue. Not a baseball fan but had some beer and food there. Weather was nice so it was a very nice game experience for me and.my friends.
Good place to watch a Hockey game. They often have groupons for cheaper tickets or days where they are on sale. We went on a University of Rochester student/alumni day and they had a happy hour from 6-7 where Genny beers were $2
I went to a concert and had a water bottle with me. The person taking the ticket told me I couldn't bring it in and I had to drink it. He had already scanned my card prior to telling me this. He told me to step aside and drink my water. When I went back in line, he told me my ticket was already used. Duh, you just scanned it not more than 2 minutes The security guard that was watching confirmed that I not lying. Fortunately, I didn't let him ruin my time there. The concert "TobyMac was amazing.
Had a great time at the Maroon 5 concert. Great stage set up. Acoustics were great and the crowd was energized. Always a great time at the Blue Cross Arena.
Family bathrooms were unavailable. Girlfriend has to change child on the floor. Food was low quality garbage. No more red osier? Seriously? Thank God the beer was good
