Went for dinner. Cheese curds were fantastic, burgers and wraps were not very good at all. Fries were just thrown on the plate, not very many at all.

Very nice place. Room was freshly remodeled and clean. The bar and restaurant was good. Had the walleye very good. Wife and i were there for 3 hours drinks,food,appetizer and everything was 50 bucks. You cant beat that.

The cabins are nice, clean, and comfortable. The location is beautiful. Little St. Germain Lake is big enough for any water sports you want to do but small enough that it doesn't get crowded. BBL provides kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards for guests. You can rent boats or wave runners for a day at a reasonable price. You can always see bald eagles flying over the lake catching fish which is always fun to watch.

The Bears Den restaurant at the resort is fairly slow, but the food is good. The whole resort is kept very clean and if there are any issues, the resort is very good about resolving the problems.

I can't recommend this place enough. My entire extended family has been coming to Black Bear Lodge every year for 20 years, and there is a reason we keep coming back. This place is like a second home to us. We look forward to coming back next year as soon as we leave.
