We were impressed with the wide variety of things to do available. There aren't quite so many in the winter, but the Amish Country bus tour was a highlight. Make sure that you check the event schedule as soon as you check in as well. There are two pools and a big hot tub, an arcade and game room, a few conference rooms, a very small fitness room, the restaurant, mini golf, a petting zoo, etc.

This is our first time here and it was wonderful. Perfect location! There are many amenities like the indoor pool and jacuzzi that we enjoyed, many more if we were here in the summer months. Miniature golf, petting zoo, playground, tennis courts and the beautiful grounds for a walk if it were warmer! If you have kids 2-16, this is your place!!!

FIRST TIME STAYING. FANTASTIC! We chose this place as a resort for a quilting retreat when another outfit fell through. Absolutely love it!!!! We'll all be back again. They accommodated 18 of us, with our rooms grouped in the same hall, and our conference room also ajoined. Worked out great for a bunch of quilting queens!!! Can't wait till next time!!!

This is a great hotel. It's especially good for kids. They have many amenities, such as mini golf, three pools (two indoor, one outdoor), two tennis courts, a basketball court, a playground, a petting zoo, a pond,and an arcade and a fitness room by the indoor pools. The rooms are clean and relatively up to date. Overall, the best family resort in Lancaster.

Great place to stay. Rooms are perfect! Love the comfy beds. Have indoor and outdoor pools. The grounds are beautiful. After enjoying a delicious smorgasbord, with a 20% off coupon that they give you upon check in, my husband and I lounged on the comfy lounge chairs out front on the big lawn. We got to see 2 hot air balloons inflate and fly up into the sky right before us. We go every June to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We always recommend for others to come here. Hospitality is always friendly and there for you. We also stayed at the inn one year. Lovely old fashioned house. Price is always right. Thanks for a wonderful time as always.

Great family atmosphere!!! very clean and lots to do with the kids including shows, mini golf, excellent pools, playground and a small petting zoo. The restaurant is buffet style with very good food. There is a Farmers market right next door and a bakery with a homemade ice cream right across the street as well. This is our go to hotel when we are visiting the Lancaster area.

For a stress free take on the Pennsylvania Dutch experience my family recommends Bird in Hand. Comfy and simple rooms. The smorgasbord offered next door is one of the best in the area and the lunch version is very well priced with a large selection. The mini golf courses are fun and well designed. We've stayed twice so far and have no regrets. Our daughter wanted to move to move in permanently!

The staff here were wonderful, helpful & amazing!

Close to a lot of cute shops, and close to the farmer's market.

3 pools & a jucuzzi! Amazing!

However, the reason for the low review is that the beds were horrible. The bed itself felt like sleeping on a piece of wood and the pillows were very old, hard, and packed together. The room istelf was very clean. But I honestly thought seriously about sleeping on a lawn chair last night as it would have been much more comfortable.

A perfect place to stay if you are looking to get away for a while. Close by to all of the essentials: supermarkets, restaurants, coffee Etc. While also having that Amish feel to it. The restaurant on the property is an excellent dining option, and the staff are nothing but kind and considerate.

My family has come to this hotel every Christmas for nearly 20 years. It's expensive, but the staff, rooms, pools, and restaraunts are absolutely worth the price.

The swimming pools and spa have always been my favorite part. I love to swim and even when crowded, the facility is large and able to accommodate.

There is not much in the way of attractions nearby unless Hershey or Gettysburg is your destination. That being said, the Amish tour provided by the hotel and the "mom and pop" style shops are definitely worth the time to visit.

I always recommend this hotel. I will admit that for me it is as much about the memories I have of this place than it is coming back every year. It's a great family experience!
