Just want to thank Birchwood for taking care of this huge tree in my yard, it was a HUGE job and these guys were flawless, here on time, worked diligently until the job was completely done in a very timely manner! They put everything back just the way they found it, I.e neighbors fence. They were respectful of my yard and if those around me! I would highly recommend these guys for getting rid of big trees! Thanks guys for a job well done!

They serviced our neighbor. After seeing them unannounced in our back yard, I thanked God that the dog was not out! I notice half a tree in our backyard! I tell one of the workers, "WHEN (naturally, they will pick up their mess!) you go back again, let me know because the dog is out"; he replies, "Sure". Minutes later, they are gone. I call and have a message sent to their supervisor. Hour and a half later, I get supervisor on line; she does not acknowledge the lack of announcing their presence and asks, "Who told you they would be back?". I explain; she tells me, "Fine, but I can't guarantee WHEN they will be back. After hours, I leave answering service message that either they come back ASAP or husband will do it and send invoice. No reply. I call answering service and get supervisor, who remembers. I tell her husband did it, they need to come and pick up mess at curb, and to expect invoice for labor. She says, "I am telling you right now that will NOT happen". I say, "Expect a court date then".

RG@E contacted me and asked if they could remove a tree on my property. They informed me that birchcrest would take it down and remove if I would like. I agreed.
The tree was taken down early May and still sits in my front yard.
I have taken care of most of it because it was killing my grass.
But they left a 6 to 7 foot section about 3' wide. My chainsaw can't cut that and way to heavy to move.
Between my wife and I, we have called three times. My neighbors have also called multiple times. Every time we get I'll send a reminder. Sometimes rudely.
I wonder if they will repair the damage they cause.my yard. I doubt, I guess I should just hope they remove there mess.response / report this review -

Twice scheduled me for work on trees. 1st time, failed to show up, but at least had the manners to call and let me know. 2nd time, failed to show up and not even the courtesy of a call. I contacted the office to complain. and got the usual lame excuses. I requested, and was denied, a 10% discount for my inconvenience, so I requested my deposit back.
Meanwhile my neighbor, who has been a steady customer of theirs for many years, has been waiting SINCE LAST OCTOBER for them to show up and do what he contracted them to do.
Book them at your own risk. I won't ever use them again.response / report this review -

This company is awful! Came home to a tree that broke my roof on my shed! No note! no call! If I could give zero stars I would! I called a real company to come take down a branch and they came before they showed up and ruin a brand new shed! This company has no values and I hope that this review helps someone stay away from ever using them! They also left the branch so I can’t get into the shed! Called to tell them and they laughed and hung up!
