  I have known Darby the owner for 30+ years. He has always had the best parts and bicycles. If he doesnt have it he will get it for you quick. I have never had a bad experience. Go see Darby today for your bicycle needs.

  Darby is a good honest person. Went in wanting something I had stuck in my head. He had me go test ride what I wanted then let me test ride something that he thought would better suit me. And he wasn’t just trying to be a sales person which was really nice. The bike I ended up with was cheaper than the one I thought I wanted.
  
  He has even picked up and dropped off the bike for service since I work the same hours he is open.

  Darby is great to work with. Not pushy at all. In fact, he thought I should get a used bike instead a new one due to my lack of experience. What a great experience! Don't expect wal-mart pricing because you are not shopping for wal-mart quality. The used bike I bought was completely renovated with new tubs and tires and cleaned up really nicely.

  Did good work, but also did unnecessary work. I took my bike in with a broken chain and a wheel that needed truing. They were pretty backed up but were able to squeeze mine in before a trip.
  
  They told me I'd get a call with a quote, but I just got a call saying it was done. The total was a little under $100 as they readjusted my gears, which I had done 2 weeks previously at another shop. I recently confirmed that this is not necessary with a new chain and it was never mentioned to me before being done.
  
  They were friendly and did good work, but I don't think I'll be going back.

  This place is awesome! Great customer service and great prices! I recently bought a 2017 haro from bike America and they did not help me find a bike that would fit me and they didn't even put the bike together correctly. Bikes for the likes of us is totally different he helped me find bike that fit me and my needs. And when you buy a bike he helps you adjust everything where you like it from the seat to the handle bars. Definitely the best place to buy a bike in the KC area!!!

  Being new to bicycling and with a little age on me, I didn't realize that biking is so different now from when I was a child. Well let's just say that Im not 7 to 15 and on bike. Well I have learned that for my aging body, my bike had to be properly adjusted to fit me. I purchased John a bike from Bikes For The Likes Of Us and met Darby. Then John inturn found a bike for me. Well I was resistant and didn't want to ride but I gave it a shot and found my childhood love again. I started out strong and very devoted to this bike, well thats when I ran into this bumpy road. So I called Darby and explained what was happening. He was more than happy to help me find the solution to my issue. Darby took the time out of his busy day to fit my bike to me, he had the supplies in his shop to make the necessary adjustment to make me more comfortable with my riding experience. He is very supportive and encouraging in my newly refound love of the bicycle. He helped me today to my road to recovery of a silly injury , for that I am very thankful. If you are in need of assistance with you bicycling experience or parts please allow me to recommended Bikes For The Likes Of Us and Darby your sure to be as pleased as I am.

  These guys were super friendly and knowledgeable! He helped me find a good bike for me. Not pushy at all, I would recommend them to anyone looking for a friendly bike shop! New and used bikes and repairs are offered!

  Just dropped my bikes off there and haven't even had the work done yet, but had to offer up a review. Darby and his daughter Phoenix were so personable and knowledgeable, and friendly, that I'm already sold. I'll add to this after the work is complete.
