  I have rented from Maya for the last eight years and will not go anywhere else. Her staff and she are professional, personable and provide stellar service. When i leave the keys this year, I will reserve her firm for next year.

  Overall a very nice experience. Chris met us at the Summerland Key location and was super helpful. He took us out for a spin and gave us some keen advice, as we are novices to the whole boating experience. I suspect that some of the people who referred to the owner as "rude" just can't handle matter of fact women. She doesn't waste her time flattering folks just so they'll come back for repeat business. The Summerland location is one of the best hopping off points in the keys. Will be back for future rentals.

  I hesitate to post a review because the last time I rented from here was 12 years ago. I wanted to rent last weekend but because of a small craft advisory, they would not let me, despite the fact that the water was very easy navigating and the decade of experience I have on the water. I understand that it would have been a "risk" to the companybut come on. Small cradt advisories are in effect if the wind is even moving half the time. Next time please analyze the conditions yourself and at minimum meet in person the guy who wants to give you money for a boat.

  Rented a 26 footer. Maya recommended her son- in -law Mike as a guide.AWESOME!!!! caught lots of fish. Went off shore one day (13 miles) and cleaned up on the Mahi. Hands sore form high fiveing. Going again in april. BEST TRIP EVER!!!!

  Horrible experience with these folks. First boat GPS didn't work. Second boat depth finder didn't work and that is VERY important in the Keys waters!! When we called Miya to let her know her response was after yelling at us that we must have "unplugged something" was "I don't know what to tell you". Damn lady these are YOUR boats that don't work. When we finally returned she was waiting at the dock to yell at us some more claiming we were supposed to be back by 5 PM but the guy who worked for her had told us to "be back by dark" and that was two hours away. She is one miserable cranky old broad and I would strongly suggest taking your business elsewhere!!!

  She said I cannot rent a boat because I am not " experienced" and said goodbye promptly. Other shops gave me the rental easily because I am over 25
