I live on the very Northern Edge of big Oaks and they do a decent job of keeping the area clean as far as being mowed.

This place was amazing. Just make sure you take the safety video beforehand. It's for your own safety due to the amount of unexploded ammunition.

I was disappointed to find out we'd have to watch a safety video and sign a Waiver in order to enter the park since there's unexploded bombs and uranium everywhere. I would have liked to go inside the refuge but we didn't know how. Everything was gated off and there was no way off entering. It is a ginormous piece of land I wish could be of use to the general public.
