  I come here almost everyday to walk and take pictures. I also love bringing my godchildren (ages 3-17) here too!! They enjoy it.

  Beautiful and peaceful just attended a wedding there and our son and his fiance decided to have their wedding there next year we rode through on our motorcycle it was beautiful tons of hiking trails stone fireplaces, pavilion and playgrounds

  There's usually not a lot of people here, which, as you can imagine, makes it peaceful and good place to collect thoughts and reflect on the recent work week. I do just that over looking the river and suspended in a hammock. Not a lot of bugs either.

  Its different than most parks and next to a cemetery, it has a laid back feeling to it.

  I recently rediscovered this place after visiting it once four years ago. Boy, have I been missing out!
  
  Things to do:
  
  Walk through the beautiful path running parallel to the river, with the steep slope beside you. A wonderful place to think.
  
  Check out the observation deck for a lovely view of the Rock River. The deck is very well build and has a perfect railing to lean on and stare at the view for an hour or more.

  Many well-kept trails, a number of kid play areas, family shelters, very arbory, riverfront areas, serviceable driving around park.
