Nice,clean & quiet. Large playground for kids. Canoe and kayak rentals. Lots of things to do in the area.

Clean restrooms, convenient location. The one quibble about the restrooms were the very low shower heads; I'm a tall guy so that was a bit rough. My tent site was right on the river which is nice. The sites are a bit crowded to each other but the other campers were all quiet and courteous when I was there.

My favorite stop for overnight while in the upper peninsula of Michigan. There are pull through sites for short stays with water and electric and a section for seasonal campers. Bathrooms are spotless. A large playground for kids, canoe & kayak rentals for grown ups. Owners live on site and are available when needed.

Good family atmosphere. Wish they would tell you when you sign up that they charge extra for running A/C or electric heaters. VERY clean restrooms.

Super clean restrooms! Quiet, clean campsites. Hosts very nice! Small town has bar/restaurant neat with good food, good service.

This park is only 10 minutes off of highway 2 on the UP (upper peninsula)so if you are traveling over the top of Michiganthis works really well. We were traveling from WI to St. Ignace. This is a small rustic, old-school family campground and it is right on the river. We pulled in late in the evening and rented tubes in the morning and had the most wonderful time. You can use your own tubeswe only had one, so we rented 3 more and my husband and the kids hopped in the river at the campground, I drove down the road and picked them up 45 minutes later. It was the perfect activity before we hopped back on the road (tube rentals are $10 each). Showers were nice and hot after being in the river. We would definitely do this again! We also had a convenient W/E pull-up site (basically parallel parking in a half-moon shape that was convenient).

This place was a pleasant surprise.
Bathrooms were newer and very clean. Not too many spaces - pretty quiet. Decent common area with swings and stuff. River at the back of the property.
A few more trees/bushes to offer a bit more privacy and I would have gone 5 stars.response / report this review
