Store would not let my kids sit on the bikes to see if they would be the right size and see if they could actually be able to ride/use them. Employee was very rude about it. They lost two bike sales from us today and any future sales from us as well.
Came in this morning for service on my Domane. You guys did an awesome job, super helpful and polite, got the bike back to me in perfect working order by midday. Thank you!
First of all I want to thank Randy, Rachael and Brandon for exceptional customer service. Secondly the shop is very clean and organized. Aesthetically pleasing. Finally, I did not rate higher because the associate Andy is extremely rude and unprofessional, scolding a fellow associate in front of a customer is seriously uncalled for. I felt so uncomfortable with second-hand embarrassment for the man. But thanks to the other your associates for not dropping the ball.
They have bikes, but customer service can really use some work
My current bike broke beyond repair, so I looked for somewhere that could offer contactless delivery. I ordered the bike online from these guys, and someone from the store named Randy called the next day to say the bike was in stock, but it was in the warehouse and that it would *maybe* be available by Thursday once the warehouse opened up, which I didn't quite understand. He also told me I would have to go into the store to get it, which also did not make sense, as the website claimed this would be a contactless delivery. Going into an enclosed space during a worldwide pandemic is not something I'm willing to do, mask or no. Reluctantly, I agreed, though I had serious misgivings about it.
I called the store again later to follow up, as the earlier exchange seemed very bizarre to me. I spoke with another gentleman, (Paul?), who was very helpful and had told me that Randy had actually cancelled my order and that there was no bike delivery on Thursday. WHAT?! He also told me that the bike model I had ordered was actually not in stock, as were a lot of bikes due to the nationwide shortage. Despite all this, he did a great job helping me find a reasonable alternative, and set up an appointment for next day delivery. He was even willing to work with me to ensure a contactless delivery. Great!
However, when I called again to confirm the logistics, I got Randy again who made it clear that he was unwilling to make any concession at all to make this a contactless delivery. Indeed, when I had driven by earlier to see how the situation looked, it appeared there were quite a lot of people crowding the front entrance. Dissatisfied, I ended up hiring someone else to pick it up on my behalf. When she picked it up, she remarked later of a very rude staff member who complained that she showed up one minute early and he was still on his lunch break.
I don't want to leave such as scathing review as those I've seen, and I will say the customer service I had received from Paul was very good. However, the experience as a whole was soured by the other interactions, so I cannot recommend this place.
I believe the issues with this shop fall on management/owner. If you're going to treat each customer like you're serving up fast food then fine. But the customers should be aware. If you're going to sell a $1,000+ bike then you should at least do a basic fitting and not be rushed to get to the next app. There should not be one staff member assisting a line of customers with appointments backing everyone up.
These guys and gals are truly dedicated to helping you find the best bike, accessories, and fit for you. We were only in for around 45 minutes but multiple employees came up to us to attempt to assist and help in any way they could. After we picked up our purchases, Randy spent 15-20 minutes explaining all the ways that he could help us with the fit once we got the clips installed. Truly 5 star customer service and products. They have me as a customer for life.
I love doing surveys because Ima keep it real. I came into the store and although not greeted right away I was helped by Pete. I had a great experience. He really took his time to help me find my 1st bike since childhood. As it stands right now I would definitely come back.
Very nice customer service while I was trying to find the best bike for me. They hooked me up with a $220 deal since it was last years model. I brought my bike in 4 months later because of a defective pedal and they took care of it in 10 mins at no charge. They got me some higher quality pedals and replaced both for me. Great place and very knowledgeable. Thanks guys!
I came in here looking for a good all around Mountain bike. Being new to mountain biking I did not know much about what I was looking for, Mark helped me out and was extremely knowledgeable! I was very impressed with his customer service and willingness to help me in any way possible to ensure I was getting exactly what I wanted. I would highly recommend asking for him to help you find a awesome bike and a great price!
My husband and I are in our 50's, and know nothing about today's bikes. Turns out, they are amazing! We went to the tent sale today. Every employee we spoke to was informative, accommodating and helpful. Fred went the extra mile, helping us find the right style and adjusting the seat height for maximum comfort on the knees. All the accessories we needed were on sale, and with Fred's help, easy to find. Service on the bikes was prompt and friendly. We look forward to a continued business relationship with these people.
I have had to come in several times for flats on one bike and I brought in another bike I had just got off of craigslist to get diagnosed. They have always been very helpful. There was one time I went in and was having an awful day and was starting to get flustered with having to replace inner tubes ever other week and they discounted the service for me! My bike is my transportation, they take that into consideration and I am usually in and out when I need repairs. They even gave me an extra seat they had laying around when the one on the bike I just got wasn't usable! 5 stars all the way!!
.I Wish I had read these folks reviews before I made the mistake of dealing with themThey Charged Me $188
.I Took my bike in to get several things done. Picked it up days later & it did not look like a new tube had been put in the front which was the main reason I took the bike in. I had been charged for a new tube & it had air in it.. I asked the repair tech if this was a new tube & he said "Yes". I Went to pay and asked clerk if a new tube had been put in &. He said "Yes" when I got it home it was flat & obviously with the old original tube.
I called the store & told "John" what was going on. He put me on hold without asking me my name or any info. Six mins on hold & he hung up on me without getting back on the line. I called back & got "Jubel" he had nothing to say other than "I guess it sucks to be you but we got your money soooo"I hung up. Twenty minutes later I got a call back from "Christine" who only wanted to interrupt & not let me finish a sentence..
.I went to my bank & contested the charges.now I will go to an honest & competent shop NOT BICYCLE VILLAGE Idiots.Run don't walk from these folks..It will take my bank 30 days to get my money back but it is worth the time & work to NOT BE CHEATED.by these folks..
UPDATE
Took my front tire in to a different bike storea reputable bike store & they took care of meI found Bicycle Village had worked on the the front brake & it had not been set correctly by the Bicycle Village Idiots. It took me aprox 30 min of work to straighten out their screw up..so not only are the Bicycle Village Idiots incompetent but they are totally Unsafe .Run..RunRun Away from these folks!!!!!!
Update 2
My Bank looked into this & issued me a Full Refund. So at least this time Bicycle Village's thieving or total incompetence didn't pay off for them& no one from this sorry business has ever taken the time to call me

I enjoy the place. First, it is very close from where I live. I had a problem with my light that just stopped working after a short period of time. The manager "Christina" without any hesitation replaced it with a new one right away. There is a genuine strive in making you feel welcomed and supported. Again, thank you!
I've purchased two bikes from here and I've been satisfied with both. Service is backed up in the summer. They have honored the free basic tune up in the off season, but every time I bring my bike in for the basic they suggest additional maintenance for a discounted price. Knowledgeable and friendly staff overall
Granted I'm a newbie at biking, I expected a lot more. I bought 2 bikes and had to wait more than an hour to get kick stands and final checks done. Finally after loading them MYSELF (5'2" smallish frame) into the car and after making it home, found that I couldn't tighten the brakes back onto one bike. Was told to bring it back in. So had to drive back in 40 min traffic to find out the brakes were not tightened at top correctly. All this trouble just to get my hubby a nice Father's Day gift. And after all this , still no apology.
