  Great employees and a brilliant upcycling(no pun intended) of parts and used bikes. Highly recommended for those looking for quality on a budget. Put the money here and not into overpriced megastores that screw over our community, pretty please.

  Really great place with a really great mission. They have really well priced used/refurbished bikes and also teach the community how to build and maintain their own bikes. Excellent staff with a lot of knowledge. Really loving the bike I got here six months ago or so.

  Our business donates a lot to them and they are now taking advamtage of this. Recently we recommended a customer go to them for a used bike. First off the woman at the register was very rude and wouldnt answer his questions about a 2008 Electra Cruiser Deluxe. So being a commumity based small business he gave us the momey to purchase thw bike for him. First and for most the woman was extremely rude and when my pregnant wife and I wheeled the bike to the register she came out from behind the counter to ask if we were going to pay for it lol very rude and does not need to be working in this place. Secondly and this is where I am pretty upset. Most if not all of these bikes are donated, meaning they pay nothing and give nothing in trade for you bringing them a bike. The 2008 Electra Deluxe is blue booked in good condition at $85 fair price right? They had marked $200, this I thought, was a mistake and asked if we could pay less due to the condition of the bike. She stated " I do not bargin thats why I am behind the register" let me remind you, we have been doing business here for about 2 years on and off so I asked if I could speak to someone who could and she huffed tried to argue and then disappeared for a couple minutes, came back and said she doesnt bargan. I told her the real value and she went to the computer amd looked up the $599 bramd new version and said no lol anyways I took out the customers $90 that we should have paid and gave the difference of $110. That is your tip for the thousands, I and my customers would have continued to spend amd donate to you. Way to treat yoir commumity.

  BICAS is basically just hipsters and dirty scrap metal heaps in a basement. Go there if you want a project, not a decent bike.

  Aside from being a total dump, whoever heard of a bicycle shop that doesn't sell bicycle tools? Avoid and buy the stuff you need online.

  Super worth to visit. Service is ok but totally educational. I got a used bike here and then fixed it with a mechanic. Took us 3 hours to bring it back to life again but it was totally fun and indeed you will learn a lot from it. They are also community friendly and hold lots of different activities.

  I also went down to donate a full bike in hopes of maybe getting a few freewheel clusters that were no good and in the art area I was told they won't take the bike because it's a "trade" and I have to make a "reasonable donation". Again, I have a bike to donate.. I explained I just want to give them this bike to refurbish and help someone else out, I'll donate then.. So $5-10? Still unsure.. He made sure to tell me if I was really doing it for the community I'd be donating it.. Huh.. Thanks for judging my character and what I do right? Eventually after he and the kid talked, they told me $3 each for a pile of fried and non op freewheel clusters, I took that as a slap in the face. I took my bike to ORDINARY BIKES and they gladly accepted it. We will make someone happy without your name and help. Honest guys.
