At my consult with Dr. Singer re: my jaw problems, I felt lucky to have met him. He spent a remarkable amount of time explaining my problem and how his treatment plan would address it. It made so much sense, and I'm very optimistic. The staff were warm and very professional. At my new appliance fitting yesterday, Dr. Singer took extra time to make sure the fit was right and answer my questions. He's great!

Very professional and very nice. Made me feel very comfortable and explained everything that was going to take place. I have had service at the office twice now and both appointments were fantastic. The staff from customer interface to procedure to ending the visit, everyone made me feel welcome.

I had an appointment today with Dr. Singer. He was was the absolute best. He was kind, gentle, patient and listened to everything I had to say. By the end of the visit, I was in tears because I finally had the answers that I have been searching for. He is truly an angel!

This was a great experience. The office is very clean and beautiful. Everyone in the office was very nice and professional. The doctor was gentle, polite and explained everything thoroughly. They ran right on time and I didn’t have to wait at all. I would highly recommend them.

I received outstanding TMJ treatment from Dr. Michael Singer.
I went to his office with my jaw out of alignment and making loud cracking noises. Dr. Singer performed several stretching maneuvers in my mouth which were gentle and painless. The stretching did not immediately put my jaw back in alignment so he proceeded to fit me for a device to wear 9 months. Within two hours after I left the office, I opened my mouth and my jaw went back in place. The stretching had been effective after all.
I had an appointment 2 weeks later to pick up the device that he made for me. Once Dr. Singer saw that my jaw was back in alignment, he concluded that I no longer needed the device. He never mentioned charging me for the device or any costs associated with making it.
I highly recommend Dr. Singer. He is an expert in his field (I did the research) and clearly knows what he is doing. From my experience, he is dedicated to helping people, not just making money. You will find that he will explain every detail associated with your condition and its treatment. He is by far one of the most caring doctors you will ever encounter.response / report this review -

I've been coming to Bethesda TMJ for years and have had a great experiences with everyone in the practice. Dr. Kaplan has been my doctor since I started and she's been beyond wonderful. I can't say enough good things about the way she treats me. She's always thinking about alternative treatment approaches to make my life easier. As she is examining me, I can actually see her thinking about alternative treatments to help ease whatever problem I'm experiencing. When I first arrived I was in a lot of pain and discomfort and Dr. Kaplan spent as much time as was necessary to make sure I got the best care as well as advice. I understood everything about my situation from day one. And every time I come in to see her it's like the first time. She spends as much time as necessary and on more than one occasion has come in on weekends to accommodate my schedule. I just don't find this kind of attention to care with other doctors. I know I'm always going to get the best care and feel fortunate that I was referred to the practice. Bethesda TMJ is really like family.

Dr. Laura Bolding was referred to me by a highly competent and respected periodontist because of my unusual fistula resulting from degradation of bone from radiation to treat oral cancer. I've had five different oral surgeries (not counting the radiation) and my mouth is anything but normal. So Dr Bolding's standards for creating a perfect oral appliance and partial for me gives me great confidence in her professionalism and expertise treating patients with radiation. I am very thankful for the the referral that led me to Dr. Bolding.

I could say many good things about Dr. Singer, but the most important is that he defined my TMJ problem and worked to correct it, and helped me to understand it. I had been misdiagnosed by several specialists and thought I would have to live with the problem for the rest of my life. Not only did Dr. Singer give me hope, but results as well. I have great respect for him and all of the folks at Bethesda TMJ. They are the best!

I met Dr. Kaplan in a shared van from an airport following a trip a few years ago. I told her about my less than satisfactory experiences with former dentists and she gave me her card. I followed up with a visit to her and have been going to Bethesda TMJ ever since. I also saw Dr. Louis and have been impressed with the superior knowledge and treatments I received from both. My dental issues were resolved and I highly recommend Bethesda TMJ.
