    Large clean, quiet room.

Had a refrigerator but no microwave, although one was available in the breakfast area.

Laundry room had 2 washers and dryers; $1.25 for each

Free hot breakfast everyday; eggs, sausage and gravy, sausage links. waffles, cereal. fruit.

There are several places to eat within walking distance; Buffalo Wild Wings is on the corner and there is a Burger King and a Wendy's across the street. Other places to eat and shop are a short drive away.

Location of the hotel was on the Main Street and the pier and was easy to locate. We stayed in room 127 which was okay but in need of updating. The service was great and we enjoyed the free breakfast they came with the room.

The room was clean, staff was welcoming and the free breakfast was on par with most hotels that provide a free breakfast. Our room was right next to what I assume was an addition as the view from the window was just the side of the building next to us. However, for the price, it provided a good place to rest for the night. They have a swimming pool and what looked like a game room area, so it might be a good place for a family to spend a night or two.

The breakfast really was lovely compared to the more expensive comfort inn hotel at the airport during our stay. Nice fixings for oatmeal or yogurt. Hot food with actual protein choices. Coffee and other fluids all the time. It was really helpful to have the small gym. Weight machine is limited but the 2 treadmills, 1 elliptical and 1 recumbent bike was useful as the area is too congested to run. Lots of shopping and eating options within walking distance. We were always able to park near the door. And military discount is significant much appreciated, made a big difference in the choice of this hotel. The pool is really pretty, warm, and hot tub that is acutally hot!. Play and game area too. It's really cozy and different from a chain hotel.

Rooms were nice and comfortable. Everything clean. We had a big party and should have been placed closer together. A couple rooms smelled of smoke. Ours was very nice. Location was good and this hotels amenities are more than adequate. The bar/restaurant was a fun hangout for our group. I would highly recommend this hotel especially for big groups. The hotel staff is awesome! They aim to please!

All at this motel is very comfortable and friendly. The staff is there when you need them and very friendly. I would recommend this place to any who need a place away from home to feel like they are hereby me. The breakfast is tasty and clean.

The rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the breakfast, particularly the waffle maker, though in typical fashion everything is just left out for guests (great variety but sort of plain simple stuff). The pool area was beautiful (though there were only about 4 games in the "arcade" -- honestly just a bonus but something to note if you bring young'uns). My only complaint, and this wasn't really a problem for myself, there was no elevator. Great stay, overall!

I've stayed at this particular Best Western almost every year since 2005. Best value for the cost of any of the Hotels/Inns in the area. Friendly, dependable staff, from Desk Clerk to Maid. Always able to answer my questions and help me feel welcomed. I'll be back next year.

Always a nice stopping point on the way to Sarnia, Ontario. Desk clerks are very professional and responsive - set a good image for the hotel.. Room was / is always good on first floor - only drawback is no elevator if they don't have lower floor rooms. Breakfast is well presented and with a variety.

Nice clean hotel. The women working the desk were very sweet even though I got in after 11pm from work. Thanks for a pleasant stay!!

Clean, decent hotel. A little dated on the interior, but it is comfortable. I like the on-site restaurant; a very nice touch with good pub grub and very reasonable prices. Breakfast in the restaurant is just ok with standard fare.

The bar tender was aw-some, very pleasant , and nice, even though she had just deal with another couple with a crying infant, at 10:30 P.M on a Saturday night. who were complaining about there food (When they should not have even been there with there crying baby, of course that is going to put the couple in a bad mood, and other patrons) Oh the food is aw-some. we travel a lot, and use many different accommodations on our ventures through out the mid west. and the current work force in this industry (like many) is absolutely horrible. 85% of our stays have had ether bad staffing, louse accommodations. food is horrible, excetra. this location was a win all around. we looked at other hotels in the area for our stay for the night, the on line reviews we like to consider, but also take with a grain of salt. for you can not make every one happy (such as the couple with the crying baby, I feel they were looking for a free meal) We have Family in the Lapper, Michigan area, and we will be staying here again. on our next travels from Wisconsin
