A disaster with this guy Mike Bergen.
Took my BMW Z4 for a service. Arrived home with smoke coming from under the hood, lifted the hood to find engine oil everywhere as well as oil puddles all over our asphalt drive.
Removed filter top to find sealing ring in two pieces. Car now undrivable, no offer from Bergen to come out to me with new ring. My wife had to drive 25 miles to collect a new ring only for me to find the idiot had supplied the wrong size ring so another 25 mile trip !
Obviously the ring was either not fitted flush to the top of the housing as it should have been or the bolt over torqued. Elementary errors. One wonders what else was done wrong with the other service items.
A request for compensation for the time and expense we were put to was refused.
I cannot recommend this outfit and will never take any of our cars there again.

I was on my way to North Conway from Montreal for a week's vacation and got a check engine light. The car seemed to run fine but I wanted to make sure I could drive back home without damaging anything. Found Bergen Motor Werks on the web and drove there to have them check it out. Not only did Mike take the time to check the codes and clear them, he showed me what he thought was wrong under the hood so that I could fix it when I got back home. He definitely knows his BMWs and is a very nice guy. Last thing, he did all this free of charge! I highly recommend Bergen Motor Werks and I would bring my car to Mike if I lived closer.

I have been going there for just over a year now and I love these guys. They take the time to explain what is wrong with your car, how to fix it and look for ways that they can save you money. The owner, Mike Bergen, knows more about BMW's than the guys at the Manchester dealership. Not just imports though. They do all my cars now.
