I am very happy with Katja and the salon. I saw a review regarding appearance of the facility, they have addressed any issues, because it was bright, clean and comfortable. Katja was very turned into what I wanted and her design fits me perfectly. She paid close attention to my hair and made recommendations without hard sell. This is my new salon. FYI, the owner was working the front desk. I was impressed with his friendliness and interest in my experience. Yes, recommend.

I have been a customer at Benzies for a couple of years. At first, I was very happy. I regularly got compliments on my hair (including some who asked for the salon / stylists name). But over time the quality of the cuts went down. It seemed like my stylist was on auto-pilot and really didn't care anymore. Once I told her I didn't like the last cut, and I had a photo of a haircut that was more like what I wanted. She replied "I don't need to see the picture". The last few cuts felt more like something I would get as a new walk-in at a 15.00 quickie salon. I also found that the salon itself kept getting dirtier and dirtier. The first time there was hair all over the floor I thought maybe someone had called in sick. But it happened regularly. It doesn't seem like they bother to clean up between customers. Or dust. Or mop. Bottom Line: They are not currently a 5* salon and I am going somewhere else.
