I always love this place!!! Very nice atmosphere and great staff!! Always have a great experience!!!!
It's expensive to be a member. I went with a 30 plus year veteran member. I didn't find the food all that great, I didn't think the bar staff was as tip top an the could have been. I hope me next visit it much better. Otherwise, I would never pay the $ to join, and it is a three minute walk from my home.
Good layout; course needs work. But they are closing to renovate and redo course.
Great course. Well maintained. Friendly staff.
The course was in fair condition for reasonable price. My wife and I got a couple sandwiches to go at the turn which were very good but was upsetting to see older bartender with gray hair believe her name was tracie to roll her eyes and talk in a sarcasm manner towards us for asking how long it would take and what options they had on the menu. Besides unwelcoming waitress it was a good semi private course to play
One of my favorite courses in Clearwater. A beautiful old Donald Ross design, circa 1925, this course always seems to be in immaculate shape and has plenty of challenge for the low handicaps but is fair from the front tees for the middle to high handicappers. A must play.
Winter review (Early January).
Great clubhouse and very helpful staff.
Fairways were pretty hard, had to try to pick the ball clean otherwise would really feel it in the wrists if I hit it normally (especially when I hit it fat :( ).
Greens were some of the most challenging I have experienced, was happy with a 2 put anytime I was over 5 feet.
