FANTASTIC!! This Italian restaurant is by far the best place I have eaten in Destin…and we have eaten at a lot of restaurants over the years… In a town where seafood is on EVERY menu, this place does it the best. The restaurant was extremely clean and the staff incredibly nice and helpful. The menu has options for everyone, including the kids. From homemade pasta (of course) to seafood, chicken and meat dishes. I ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo with scallops and it was perfect. The sauce was rich & creamy and the scallops were seared to perfection. Honestly the best cooked scallops I have ever had. The meal came with bread and a garlic infused olive oil for dipping. My husband ordered the Rigatoni Ciociara which came packed full of spicy Italian sausage and mushrooms. It was also very well prepared. We did not get dessert but they have a great selection of drinks they created. I had the lemonade & rosemary martini and LOVED it.
If you are looking for a place to eat that is not your standard seafood establishments, you must visit Bella Sera. I promise you, you won’t be disappointed. We will be back on our next trip to Destin.response / report this review -

Enjoyed everything. Tricia was great, receptive and super friendly. She took care of me. Make sure you look for her. I had calamari, blackened salmon, potatoes and veggies. All done to perfection.

Great, warm atmosphere. Food was outstanding! Service was great, very personal. Live entertainment made the evening. Must stop for the best Italian food in the panhandle.

We ordered the family special and it was way more delicious food then two people could eat. The server was friendly and personable. Our order was served very quickly and everything was delish. The dueling piano was fun to listen to and we had a wonderful view. Definitely will go again. Nice job guys!

Staff was nice but we all ended up getting food poisoning within five minutes after we left the restaurant. In fact, two of us had to get up from the table after we ate dinner and it all went down hill from there. We called and complained and they acted like we were crazy.

Went on a Saturday night and were seated outside overlooking the harbor with a beautiful view. Friendly attentive staff. The food portions were huge! All of our entrees were delicious as well as dessert. The strawberry cheesecake was fantastic and the piano chocolate dessert was very pretty although a little difficult to eat. We will definitely be returning.

We had a really nice experience at Bella Sera this evening. Three of us got to the restaurant before 5 p.m. so we were able to take advantage of the happy-hour discounts on drinks and appetizers. Our server was Tim, and he was excellent. Super nice/polite, very attentive without being overbearing. All food was prepared perfectly with fresh ingredients and just the right seasonings, though prices were a little on the high side. We sat out on the covered deck and watched the boats go by and the sun go down. All in all, a very enjoyable evening.

This place is great. The piano music was amazing. The service was professional and fast. I didn't know linguine Alfredo could taste so good! The view from the deck is absolutely delightfull. I recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy an elegant dining experience on the harbor.
