  "I actually had to tell her what Rx I needed!!" The lack of followthrough and professionalism exhibited by this doctor was mindblowing. I had a problem with my foot, which was infected. She told me it was one of the worst she had seen, cut into it and told me I would need an antibiotic for the infection, and a follow up for surgery. I asked the front desk for a script but they said it would be submitted electronically it's faster. THREE DAYS LATER and after several attempts by myself and my pharmacist to reach the office for my antibiotic (mind you, at this point, my foot was now an open wound, red, swollen and throbbing and I was in more pain than when I visited her) I finally reached someone at the office. I didn't know who was answering, however, as the "receptionist" answered the office phone with a "hello" and I had to ask if I was calling BVFC? I also asked who it was I was speaking with, as the woman who answered sounded like the doctor, only the tired and/or intoxicated version. Indeed, it was Dr. Tamouri. I told her that I had not recieved my Rx. She insisted that the Rx was sent. BUT HERE'S THE KICKER!! Tamouri then asked what my Rx for? I replied, "you should know, you perscribed it." I actually had to tell her what Rx I needed. A Rx for a foot problem that was "the worst she had seen" and would "need surgery" and she couldn't remember wat the Rx was for which only reinforces my theory that she never wrote a script in the first place. I told her it was for an antibiotic, and then she said "oh, yeah how is that foot doing?" I told her it was worse than before to which she replied "sounds like you need that antibiotic." YA' THINK??? Maybe she couldn't remember our visit b/c she was too busy pushing the offices new lipo procedures? Apparently, I was a great candidate for it. She even gave me a newsletter about body contouring. Wow. Finally, she called in the Rx and I confirmed it with the pharmacist, immediately after our conversation. Do yourself a pain-free favor and go to a different podiatrist. Do yourself an even bigger favor and go somewhere other than Beaver County for any medical attention.
