The Beacon Veterinary Associates is an incredible Vet. Our dog caught his toenail on a walk on Tuesday in Hyde Park, NY while visiting The Hudson Valley. This vet took us right in for a walk-in appointment to check things out and cut off the broken nail. The entire staff was extremely warm and compassionate and gave or dog outstanding care! Would highly recommend them for any vet care

Administered the wrong meds to my dog, told me to follow up. When I did follow up to say he was declining, they told me the doctor I saw no longer worked there (three days later) and they couldn’t help us. Ended up in the ER with my dog for 6 hours. Rude staff, unhelpful doctor. Nothing like it used to be under new ownership. Don’t bring your pets here, especially if they are critically ill.

I called Beacon Veternarian early in the morning to see if they would be able to get my puppy in that I just got four days ago. They called me back with a sooner appointment then I already had. I was pleased as her cough was getting worse. Doctor started her on antibiotics and cough suppressants for Kennel Cough. Doctor was super nice and through with his examination.
I would highly recommend Beacon Veternarian to anyone.

Stray HELP, a Hudson Valley Rescue, has had many occasions to use both Beacon Veterinary Associates and have traveled to Stone Cottage to see Dr. Nick. The staff at both locations are courteous and compassionate. All are knowledgeable about cat health. We've had diagnostics, surgeries and a check up on a strange ear growth! We feel confident the cats we bring to either office are getting the best care available. We look forward to many years of caring for cats together!
