Really good beer. Really nice outdoor seating. Superb food. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about their beer and beer in general. The cold-smoked fish and chips was delicious. Inventive sides. I love how dog-friendly they were too. I will go back every single time I'm in town.
Great local brew pub right on the walk. Food is terrific and they also had a sour beer event going on. Definitely would go back to try some more
I've been coming here for just about 2 years now, this place never lets me down. I love the fact that they brew all their own beers, its always super fresh and tasty, from a light pilsner to a bold porter, they have it all.
Price is very good considering the quality of beer.
The food is deliciousi like spicy BBQ and this place packs just the right amount of heat into that sauce of theirsi could drink that stuff alone.
My go-to is gonna have to be the BBQ Brisket sandwich with a side of grilled asparagus. Its filling and has a good amount of meat on it.
Staff is great and very attentive to your needs but it does get a bit busy at times, dont worry though, they got you ;)
Cheers to Beachwood BBQ for their excellence!
10/10 ill be back tomorrow :)
I remember when this place opened their brews were terrible and although they've definitely gotten better their customer service has not. I spent a few minutes finding out what was available for fill on Growlers and of course none I want are their excuse is always that they're on their last keg, I thought this was a brewery), then I get there and I'm informed that my Growler cannot be filled because it's not a 64oz growler. You would think these jackasses would mention that especially after being on the phone for a while but it's run by a bunch of wankers that have no common sense and even though my Growler was just a bit smaller than 64 Oz and I was willing to pay full price they still wouldn't fill it. I'm done with this second-rate Brewery. Fortunately more have opened up in Long Beach, the scene is cracking and San Pedro, and of course the great ones in Torrance. Don't waste your money here and the barbecue is a joke
A much better selection of porters, stouts, & Belgians than most craft breweries.
The only disappointment was the inability of the restaurant - due to their own policy, - to feel a 32 ounce growler. They will still fill 64 ounce growlers though.
It seems that when I do a Google search to find a great brewery outside of my normal search radius, what I find when I arrive are a ton of IPAs and some half hearted attempts at something else. For someone who doesn’t like drinking something that tastes like a pinecone and a grapefruit were put in a blender, there isn’t much of a reason to stick around. Beachwood is different. They have a ton of variety, friendly staff, and good food. I had the Sashimi, which was great. I would definitely come next time I’m in town.
Great happy hour. Beers on tap fantastic. Food options are available. Fun people at the bar. Nice servers. Street or paid parking. Poke, BBQ sauce.
Two things. It was a way better atmosphere when they cooked on the grill in the lower restaurant area it's a shame they stopped doing that as it makes it kinda dull down there. But, the live music was great saw fishhook - and the bar area at the top is a fun place to be. Oh. Food was pretty good. Steak was excellent. Mushrooms really tasty. But the baked potato was cold and and tasted warmed through. How hard is to to serve hot freshly baked potatoes?
A nice place to go to try a bunch of local beers and enjoy the good weather. Try 4 beers with the $8 tasting flight board.
Excellent beer and chill vibe. I didn't partake in the BBQ but it smelled divine. The dessert I shared with a friend was excellent America style sweet.
Great selection of craft beers!! Many award winning beers such as Udder Love my all time favorite. Not to mention the food AMAZING! Weekends are usually busy so anticipate in advance. There is inside and outdoor seating with heaters. Family friendly. Great place to catch up with friends and lounge in their patio with their wide selection of beers of course.
Great beers with a tasty food menu. Service is always good as well. They have a large selection of iPas and they are all tasty. The Denver Jackhammer was my favorite. Their burger topped with pastrami was amazing. The kids menu with a variety of fish was a great deal too. The cream of spinach side might be some of the best I've ever had.
Great tasting BBQ dishes, Large servings, Great service!
I enjoyed the lunch special BBQ chicken salad, which was almost as good as the Lucille's BBQ chicken salad. Lucille's has a lot more toppings (like cubes of cheese, black beans, corn, and more) which can be a little overwhelming. Beachwood had a good topping-to-dressing-to-chicken ratio. Also the IPA i tried (Hop Ninja) was delicious.
