Good place to stay at Santa Cruz. Rooms are good. It could have been great if they serve morning tea coffee at room.

Very nice clean large room. Beautiful view of ocean.. Bed was very comfortable and.. 3 pillows per guests!!!! Awesome room

Old, run down, in need of some basic necessities like blankets, clean sheets, kitchen towels. That said, they're trying to do some updates, the location is good, and they allow dogs. If you're not a snob, this place is not too bad.

Easy walk to wharf and Boardwalk. Clean room. We were in a 500 room which was located at the top level next to the pool (with no view). The bathroom was pretty large with a newly renovated shower. The main room was not large but cozy. No room safe and very little storage (no real closet). Staff was friendly and there was coffee/tea and hot chocolate for the kids off the lobby.

It has a beach house feel. You are a short walk to the warf and the boardwalk. Coffee (from black to lattes), tea & hot chocolate provided at the office all hours. I enjoyed our stay. Be aware that parking is one car per room but if they are not full they may grant an extra spot.

The only negative is that there is no elevator and a lot of stairs. But they do have rooms that you don't need the stairs to get to, but we stayed on the first floor, which was awesome, and had to log the luggage a lot of stairs. Overnight stay. We stayed on the first floor, which is closest to all the action. The room has everything you need, fridge, microwave, stove. For lunch, went to the small sandwich shop literally below the hotel. Delicious Ruben. I ordered from the Thai restaurant for dinner and a brief stroll to pick that up. Beautiful view from the shared balcony. Then in the morning, the front office has this coffee maker that you can get espresso, cappuccino, latte, etc. It makes it in like 30 seconds! The pool is nice too. 5 star review.

This place is awesome!!! We kept extending our stay. The rooms were super clean and updated. The views were spectacular; and the morning coffee to our rooms - awesome!! Staff was nice and helpful the whole stay. I can't wait to go back. For $229 a night with an ocean view - can't beat that! Staying here is a must if you want the beach Santa Cruz experience! Also, all restaurants are on the pier in very close walking distance. Perfection!

Get a room with a view! I enjoyed our stay. We were upgraded to a suite, which was great! The view was awesome and it was a very short walk to the boardwalk. I would stay here again if we visit

My girlfriends and I were in one of the larger suites, there was 5 of us. The Murphy bed and the bedroom were very comfortable but the sofa bed was very uncomfortable. I also wish the soda and water machine was not locked in the pool area. I tried to get a bottle of water after the pool was closed and was unable to. Excellent location. Excellent view. The hill and steps were to steep to get up and down with artificial knees or any other walking ailments.

Perfect location right next to the beach. The staff were so friendly and helpful. One even helped me get coffee at 4:45 AM, before their coffee bar was supposed to be open, which was a lifesaver before driving to the airport at the crack of dawn. The rooms were spacious, modern and clean. Would highly recommend.

A cute little hotel right across from the beach. Great views from some of the rooms. We come here often and always love it.
