Finally got around to trying today! The tikka masala is excellent! So happy I discovered this place
Great food but very long waiting for it. Slow kitchen. Soups are great.
The service here has sucked the two times I've gone, even though it wasn't crowded either early evening I went. The staff seems to want to sit around and have conversations or dick with their phones rather than wait on patrons. They don't come back to the table to check on you once the food is out, which is really annoying. What if you want a salt Lassi???
The food is okay; pricing is high comparative to other Indian restaurants. I suggest Chutneys on Ten Mile if you don't want the cafeteria ambiance and surly bus boy at Turmerican.
I stopped going to this restaurant after the second crappy experience.
Had the lunch buffet. The quality and selection was amazing. The food was more spicy that other Indian buffets I've been too, but i liked that. My only complaint was the $12 bill. A bit pricey for lunch, but i would go back just not as frequent.
Waste of money, i am giving 1 star for the appetizers. Food smells bad, biryani and most of items are before day cooked. Worst experience.
Worst food ever had..
Ordered chkn majestic, served after 45 min.
No pepper nothing.and biryani is soo bad to taste..
Dosa chicken and biryani were yummy..it was worth the money m except for the wait time for a single tea and the final bill. Service could have been quicker
Extensive menu. Owner/Manager very friendly. Took time to explain food items. Enjoyed Apollo Fish appetizer - very tasty and very spicy. Entree 9 Jewel was also very good with fragrant rice. I will return.
Prepare to wait, and be open to change your selection if this is your destination for dinner.
The server *may* tell you what they don't have as you try to order it, OR after you've done so, so have a backup plan. Maybe two
Also, the food is good, but you will wait for it. Like long enough to select a different restaurant and feel like if you left now you would probably still get food at about the same time
Great place, doesn't deserve the bad rep! Vegetarian dishes all great, and not drenched in oil and masala like every other restaurant in the area. Were accommodating as well, made chapatis for us instead of naan. Would recommend.
Good food but not a place to be over the weekend. Over crowded and it takes forever to get your order. This is my go to place only when I have a couple of hours to spare.
I visited could of times within last 6 months. First time biryani was good, appetizers were acceptable too. But second time the food had no taste. Service was much slow as only one lady was serving entire section. I request them plz stop making all dishes in same style.
Great food, I am especially fond of the vindaloo. The dishes all seem to be a bit spicy even when ordered mild, so just be aware if you're sensitive to heat. It can also take a bit longer to get your food for carry-out than the time estimate given, but it's worth the wait.
