My family has used Baue funeral Home for years. They have always provided caring, compassionate and knowledgeable care.
I’ve called Baue twice to ask questions and was told someone would call me back. No one ever did. I guess they are too big to care.
This is only regarding my online order for flowers through their website. I ordered a plant that was $75. For that price, I expected it to be a very large plant. It wasn’t. It was probably about 30 inches tall, including the plain basket it was in. It didn’t even include a ribbon or a couple of artificial flowers to dress it up. Very disappointing. If I knew what florist provided it, I would have put the review under their name.
A week ago Baue helped us bury our dad. They went out of their way to help us. Reverend Pat gave the most wonderful service and Neva had laid out dads pictures and mementos beautifully. They made it so easy for us! They were kind and the service, transport to Jefferson Barracks, and everything went smoothly. They even had a blanket for our laps in the cold at JB. I recomend them highly and would use them again. Also, you can order flowers and everything right there.
I was here for a friend's father, the staff were very nice and they attend to their craft with care and compassion. They provide some coffee and food for the family, plenty of tissues and hard candy. The facility was very clean and the restrooms well looked after. Losing someone is never easy, but they really do their best to make it easier.
Had a chance to talk to a Funeral Director, got some extra info Their daytime office hours are 8-5 but they can be reached 24/7. It sounds like they're doing 4ish services a day so someone is usually around in the evening as well. Should you need someone at night they do have on-call staff for that. Extremely helpful and accommodating.
