I had a great experience at this restaurant. So great, that after I started eating, I ordered again before I left. Cassie and Isabella were so helpful. They let me taste their dressing before placing my order with no hesitation to do so. She really saw it as an opportunity to let me experience their flavors of their food. Definitely will try this place again the next time in town.

Because of Bates House of Turkey we decided to add numerous menu items to our Thanksgiving menu dinner and it was fabulous!

Generally we make/cook our whole Thanksgiving menu, but since I’ve gotten sick my husband and I needed some extra help. So my husband drove to Bates House of Turkey from Pensacola and let’s just say everyone was very pleased with the new Bates menu items that we chose and it was well worth the drive. Everyone was beyond happy and enjoyed our Thanksgiving dinner tremendously. Bates House of Turkey will now be a part of our annual dinner. Their menu options are fantastic even if it’s not Thanksgiving.

Ty Bates House of Turkey for making our Thanksgiving dinner even more fabulous than it already was :)

If you are even considering Bates House of Turkey, do yourself a favor and give it a try. You won’t be disappointed!

Had the BBQ Turkey sandwich..pretty good. Ladies with me had the famous smoked Turkey sandwich..great lunch or light dinner for travelers.

My party didn't get turnip greens as ordered because they were out at 5:15 pm so we were disappointed; but the green beans were tasty.

My turkey chili was good but served cold. After requesting that it be heated, it came back lukewarm.

Unsweetened iced tea was very good and the staff was courteous and friendly.

Best food in town! Excellent customer service! Proud to call Bates kinfolk! 😀 They have just about every casserole and soup you can think of. Carryout meals. Cornbread dressing a must!! Great prices!

Just left headed North on 65 and my belly is Happy, Happy, Happy!! I've eaten here every time, well nearly every time, I pass thru. We'd stop on our way to the campground in Eufala as a kid. Still the same great taste and experience!! Stay in it, Bates, stay in it!!

Not worth the price and the food was not that great, bland and dry! Dessert was nothing special. Tasted like every other pie made in a poor quality grocery store bakery. The girl taking our order didn't even know their menu. Then kept repeating the wrong order back to us. Then a fellow employee finally corrects her and my order still comes out wrong! My husband got the open face Turkey sandwich. It was sandwich bread overly covered in gravy with a little Turkey and a very tiny scoop of dressing that all lacked flavor. I had the spinach turkey salad wrap. The turkey salad was bland and very very heavily made with mayo yet the meat was dry. Then they added more mayo onto it, which I asked for no mayo. I do like mayo but that was over kill. Not worth your money or time!

Awesome food! Turkey based menu. Excellent Not Cho (nacho) turkey and turkey salad. Great squash casserole! Wished we could have sampled more of their menu! Maybe on the next trip!

You get what it says, turkey. Sandwiches, roast turkey plates and other turkey stuff. But if you don't like turkey, go somewhere else. The sandwiches are just okay. The BBQ turkey has some flavor, at least. But if you want BBQ, go to a real Alabama BBQ place instead.

I mean, I was expecting just to get a sandwich. But, that was the best turkey sandwich I've ever eaten, truly. I was hungry and in need, and this place has been listed as a place to try in Alabama, and I'm glad I stopped by. Highly recommended.
