Good, not great service (made major mistake with one order), roomy enough, volume of background music appropriate for conversation. Space clean, modern, fashionable. Despite being expensive, will definitely be back.
They've revamped their menu so I can't give a detailed opinion on it yet but they do make great truffle fries and pasta dishes. On the pricey side. They removed the previous hostess and service is great again!
Fantastic menu selection, the prices are great and the waitstaff are super .I liked the privacy, and professionalism.keep it up
I'm amazed at this place. I came in to order 2 salads to take out. While I'm waiting Zulika one of the waitress came over to ask if I'm being helped, and I said yes. I'm just waiting for the salads I ordered. She offered me water to drink. This is true kindness. Thank you Zulika. Thank you Basil
Every dish is unique. I had pasta as main which was amazing and the kale salad. It was so unique and blend of cheese, kale, grapes, quinoa with spices and tasty dressing, i would come back just for the salad. Really awesome place.. it can be a little pricey, but worth it.
The best food in Brooklyn. We just drove 1.5 hours for it. Highly recommend the basil fries and funnel cake and strawberry zabayone
Food is excellent but very expensive, they brought me coffee with super spoiled milk. The service is solid, parking on the street. The basil fries are excellent.
High quality kosher dairy cuisine. This place is a actually pioneer in its own right for gourmet kosher food, so I definitely come here often. Food is made fresh with quality ingredients. They have real nice pizzas- thin crusted, New York style, great toppings, and which are large enough to share.
Service is a hit or miss, ranging from great to terrible, depending on the waiter and the day. Ambiance is good if not too crowded- it is a small space, so it is frustratingly congested when busy. Also don't recommend sitting outside, we were hassled by a passerby.
Despite their above, overall it is highly recommended and a must for kosher food aficionados.
The place looked really nice, until i got my coffee with lipsticks stains on it, i thought it was only my cup then i looked around and found my friends cup stained and the people on the next table has stained cups. The staff we're nice and our food was good
The best tuna tartare I've ever had. Try the funnel cake!
Best food service nice place well priced
Their artisan pizza is phenomenal. Goat cheese pizza is my personal favorite. Their truffle fries are to die for.
This place is one of the most popular kosher restaurants in NYC without a doubt.
Solid food in a chill environment. The place was packed but the food was good. Had the House (or Soto) pizza. Very unusual flavor combination. The waiter did warn us ahead of time, so I suppose some folks have complained. Smoked, spicy, a bit sweet, and creamy. Definitely not for everyone but we really enjoyed it. Not your everyday pizza! Truffle fries were excellent. Roasted cauliflower was only ok, although I'm not 100% sure it was actually roasted. I came back expressly for the funnel cake with basil ice cream and while it was not bad, it was not as good as I recall. The funnel cake was soft-ish, but still tasty, while the basil ice cream was very basil-y, which was nice. Overall a nice night out.
