I work in between this location, but I tend to go the Fitchburg Barriques more often because parking is more difficult to come by and this location is usually out of toffee cookies by mid-day. Other than those two quibbles, it's a great location. The staff is friendly and the quality of the pastries and coffee is excellent. I also appreciate the Belly rewards program utilized by this store.

Staff is good, well located. Parking is big-city tight, not soured for large Pick up trucks unless you find street parking. Wine available to drink. Interior is not cozy; more hard and un-renovated industrial.

Barriques is my favorite place to drink coffee and buy wine.
I like this location better than downtown and Middleton, but not as much as Fitchburg. (Fitchburg wins because of fireplace and couches).
The wine:
The wine selection is not as extensive here, but more than good enough and better organized than other stores. You can quickly and easily find an excellent wine in the style you want for a very good price.
The coffee:
Talented baristas are always on hand for any coffee concoction. The menu suggests excellent combinations. Service is fast, but not so fast to sacrifice quality (like a certain national coffee chain).
The space:
This Barriques offers excellent quiet space to work and drink coffee or for friends to easily chat. The front seats offer great natural light and the back a little more privacy. They also offer free WiFi.
This location is conveniently located right by the bus stop for several routes. Grab some coffee and go walk along the lake!response / report this review -

I've been going here regularly since I moved to Madison almost a year ago. The staff is super friendly, the atmosphere is relaxing and chill, and the coffee and food are great. I totally recommend the Barriques on Park St.

I absolutely love Barriques, and this location is easy to get to and easy to stay at all day - it's that great. The staff members at this location are particularly good at customer service at a level that is above and beyond.

I love to go here for getting work done and have a glass of wine or some coffee with a kick. It's also great for having small meetings.

Excellent coffee options. Strong and dark roasts are available. Food options are good, too. Small amount of seating. Service can be slow at times.

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, and good drinks and food. This Barriques location gets 4 stars from me only because they always seem to be out of certain foods, specifically meats for sandwiches, wraps, and salads, by the end of the work week day (5 - 6:30 pm).
