I retired from a 21-year career with the United States Secret Service (USSS) as the U.S. Secret Service Special Agent in Charge of the National Threat Assessment Center and for the last 14 years have led Workforce Risk Management practices for clients dealing with suspended and terminated employees. For the last several years, Jan Barefoot and her team has provided outstanding insight, advice and surveillance to help me assess a subject's potential for committing an act of targeted violence. Based on the result of Barefoot's work, I am able to develop recommended actions, specifically tailored to the needs of the client and their particular situation and concerns. Barefoot's information always proves invaluable to our clients and more importantly, the analysis prevents violence from occurring and possibly even save lives. Jan and her team are excellent client facers with an acute attention to operational relevance. I am always relieved when I need resources in their geographical area as I know I will be in good hands with professionalism and attention to detail!

I have been working with Tim Reid and Barefoot Professional Investigations for several months, as have others in my office. Tim responds promptly, usually within hours, and his investigative work is very thorough. He provides me with all the detailed information he retrieves so I never have to worry if he checked this or that. Further, he has always perfected service timely and appropriately. I feel their prices are very reasonable especially considering I can let him know what I need and be confident that he is on it! Highly recommend!
