Just finished a "Cook's Breakfast". 2 eggs cooked as requested, a large order of hash browns, 4 sausage links and 2 pancakes for 8.79. How can you go wrong! It was great tasting and the waitress was very friendly.

Dude. After looking at some of the food pictures from Banjo's, my date and I were excited to eat a filling and reasonably priced brunch here. Our eggs, pancakes, and hashbrowns were good, but I ordered a chicken fried chicken with meat gravy, and I'm not exaggerating when I say this: it was literally inedible. No normal human could have finished it. The texture was like chewing on a rubber mouthpiece. It was the first time in my life I've ever sent a meal back. So I asked to try the chicken fried steak instead, and the waitress obliged. Still, the chicken fried steak was rubbery and absolutely terrible. I took one bite and pushed it away. I told the waitress that it was still really chewy, and she said something along the lines of "Oh, darn," but didn't offer to take it off the check. We also sat with nearly empty coffee mugs most of the time.

TL;DR: 2 stars. If you stick to mere breakfast basics, you might be fine.

So I ate here with my group last Friday and while the food was great the one thing I noticed most about this place was the atmosphere. You could see the service staff smiling and laughing but the the kitchen staff as well.

To see the people who work here in such great moods speaks volumes on how much they must enjoy their job which translates in pride in their service and their food and that came through with my experience at the table and on the plate.

My grill chicken was cooked perfect and our server Connie was so kind and genuine. We had a pretty large group of people in our party and the food was out in no time. I was throughly impressed with as many people we had with us. So grateful we stopped here.

Wish I could give more then 5 stars. This place deserves it.

You know "stressed" is just "desserts" spelled backwards. To fix your daily stress come to Banjo's and try their pies. Huge selection, fresh and affordable. It's like eating a slice of heaven being so sinfully delicious!

My family has loved Banjos for years, but recently they've started to turn on Fox News channel on their large screen TV in their dining room. It's so very disappointing to see this in a public place. The pancakes and food, as well as the amazing servers are a joy, but please turn this junk off. Thanks folks!

Great cafe. Chicken fried steak was delicious. Staff was very friendly and my coffee cup never went empty. Great for all ages and will definitely go again.

Tina was a great server and there was this really hot patron named Melissa there. She must have sat in sugar, because she had a sweet ass. The whole place was outstanding. Great food and service.

Small-town cafe at its best. Staff is helpful and welcoming. Helpings are generously and then some! Delicious food, great cafe atmosphere. You've got to put Banjo's on your must try soon list.

One of my favorite places in Topeka! The Chicken Fried Steak Bowl and the All Meat Omelet is really good and the gourmet muffins are amazing! Definitely worth the short drive!

Great hidden gem on outskirts of Topeka! An absolute must experience. Kitchen sink omelette, banjos sampler breakfast, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, hash browns, all were amazing. It's a family and friends atmosphere with friendly staff and completely reasonable prices! Also, there coffee was really good!!!

AMAZING BREAKFAST AND LUNCH!!! The one and only thing they need to work on is their biscuits. I have relayed this to the owner but he enjoys the recipe. They would be alright but they cook them in a steaming unit and they just aren't crispy at all. EVERYTHING ELSE IS AMAZING WOTH GREAT PRICES TO MATCH. The service is also very good. We've been there so many times that we just sit down and they bring us our food depending on the time of day we are there. They are awesome!

Food is wonderful, they do get busy but the portions and food are worth the wait. definitely going back.
