First visit to this practice. All employees were friendly and professional and Dr. Humphrey was very thorough and pleasant. Charges are fair and comparable. Office was clean, neat and no animal odors. Will go back, definitely will recommend.

They were wonderful and took my sick doggie in right away. They took the time to explain everything and followed up to see how he was doing. I can not say enough good things about them. Highly recommend!

Dr. Humphrey and his staff are simply great. They truly care about my dogs and have gone above and beyond to provide exceptional care. They've answered emails after hours and arranged specialty care when it was required. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for the best possible care for their animal family.

Dr H is wonderful. We had to put my beloved dog to sleep a few months ago and Dr Humphrey was wonderful. Kind and caring. We now have a new best friend and there was no doubt who would be our vet. Our new baby seems to feel at home with Dr H and the supreme grooming staff. Thanks much guys.

We have moved around Charlotte over the past six years and used a number of different vets. Dr Humphrey and his staff are the best we have seen. He is calm and relaxed with the animals and has a way of making them feel at ease. He is also a top of the line vet and we recommend him without any reservation. He has worked patiently with our latest rescue who came with a number of aggression issues to the point that Simon is now completely relaxed with Dr Humphrey and his staff. Breat vet!!!

If you are looking for a vet who is knowledgable, professional and AFFECTIONATE with your pets, look no further!! Dr. Humphrey is amazing. We brought in our little guy to have a mass removed and he did not disappoint!! From the consultation, to pre and post op for our little one, Dr. Humphrey treated our pup like he was his own -- and if you are an animal parent too, YOU KNOW HOW SPECIAL THAT IS!! I've been to many other vets in the past that treated my pups like they were just another visit, but if you want a doctor who is going to love on your pet and go out of his way to make your pet comfortable at the place all of our animals love to go to so much (sarcasm!) go see Dr. Humphrey. You will be glad you did.
P.S. I spoke with a lady in the lobby who said that her pup was so scared of the vet that she ran around the room trying to avoid getting put on the table. She said Dr. Humphrey sat on the floor with her pup and examined her from there to try to make things a little easier on her. That's pretty special!!response / report this review -

Our highest recommendation for Dr. Humphrey at the Ballantyne Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Humphrey is very knowledgeable of feline care and possesses a compassionate nature. His staff is effective, warm & genuine.
We saw another vet once after moving to Charlotte 2 years ago & were less than pleased. We will not trust the health of our pets to anyone other than Dr. Humphrey from now on.response / report this review -

Dr. Humphrey and his terrific staff have always provided great care and compassion. My pets have been patients for a number of years and have had long and healthy lives thanks to the preventative and palliative care at the clinic.

Ballantyne Veterinary is the best vet that I have been to, hands down. On our very first visit there, Dr. Humphrey took such good care of our fur babies, even getting on the ground to play with and cuddle them just like they were his own. They take great lengths to explain everything and keep you in the loop with what is going on, even calling after routine shots to see how your pets are doing. I would highly recommend Dr. Humphrey and his staff to anyone around!

This is absolutely the best place for your pets. The veterinarian is one of the most kind and gentle man. He actually got down in the floor with my buster because he was scared and nervous. He genuinely cares for these animals and he values their lives. Thank you Ballantyne Veterinary for taking such amazing care of my fur baby!
