We had an amazing time at Back Bay with bartender Michelle. We are from out of town and their dollar oysters brought us in, but michelle kept us there. The eggs Benedict was our choice of breakfast and we were very satisfied! We come back every year for christmas, this will definitely be a staple in our trip.

The ultimate thingy with chicken and waffles (I can't remember what it's called exactly) was great and a good amount to share; the avocado toast was delicious. However, the California Benedict was disappointing in terms of taste. We also had a devil of a time getting some syrup. But the atmosphere is so good that I had to still give 4 stars.

I have not seen better service in Boston. The food was whatever but the drinks were amazing. I got a Rosemary drink and it was literally like Christmas in a glass (not the cinnamon kind but the fresh tree kind). The coffee is reasonable as well. However, if you want to just sit and relax and enjoy great service, this is the place.

I was there for the Halloween eve karaoke party. It was pretty decent and fun. I enjoyed it. The place is cozy and the menu here is great. I am new to this town and this is one of the best places I have been to.

Hiya. My pal & I both of us from the U.K. called in for a beer & a snack. The Attractive lady who took our drink & food request was very helpful. It had a very welcoming atmosphere & as we found during our holiday very friendly people. Well worth a second visit.

Not their best day. I just left BBS after my coworkers got lunch. I say co workers bc I didn't get to eat. I arrived a couple minutes after the group. At that point they had ordered and it took our waiter almost 15 minutes to come back around before I could flag him down to take my order. Knowing my order was way behind the others, I picked a salad with chicken, so it would come out quickly it still took 15+ minutes (we were 1 of 2 tables in there at the time) and then came out with the wrong dressing (I even ordered I ton the side knowing wrong dressing is a common mistake it was smothered). I sent the salad back, and the waiter blamed it on the kitchen rushing my food out. They offered to make me something else "quickly" but at that point I had already ordered my first meal in a to go box as it had taken so long and wasn't going to have my co workers wait. I'm not sure if the error was the waiter or the kitchen, but I know had I been approached when I sat down, it all would have been avoided. If we weren't 1 of 2 tables in the restaurant, this may have been excusable.

We had a terrible experience at brunch this weekend. Our waitress was completely disinterested, came to our table for the first time after at least 10 minutes, and when it came time for our check, she had punched in the wrong item. When we asked her about this, she said "I know, but there wasn't a button for what you ordered so I just used this instead." Too bad the item she rang up is more expensive than what we got. The price differential didn't upset us but her completely callous and indifferent attitude towards doing her job was very appalling. On top of this, the food is at best mediocre. We will not be returning.

Went to this place after I heard about their luxurious burger, but it didn't really taste that special. I mean, it was good, but not worth my money, $24. Good atmosphere though and friendly staff! Their fries are amazing

A nice place in and of itself. A workshop group I was with met in the basement for drinks. The acoustics are such that everything reverberates and you can't hear or understand what people are saying. Everyone keeps talking louder and louder til everyone is yelling. Not that fun if you wanna hang out and chat with friends.

Decent place for upscale bar food and drinks. Service is average. Food is decent, but better places to go. Good group place, very lively.

Visited on a Monday evening with a few friends and had a very nice night. The lady that was tending the bar was excellent and she effortlessly took care of the whole bar alone while still being friendly and joking with us etc (even gave us a recommendation for where to go next). We had several different beers asking with a few appetizers to share. The beers were all interesting and the food was freshly prepared and delicious. We particularly enjoyed the New England style calamari. We had never had that before but it was the perfect accompaniment to our beers and I highly recommend it. We did not drink any of the cocktails or mixed drinks, but we were sitting at the bar watching them being made and they all looked great. Not the cheapest bar around, but worth it. It was also nice to be able to converse, music was playing but the volume was perfect for the venue.

Place was alright. Came for the $1 oyster happy hour. Service was alright, place was clean and not to busy. Got an order of clam chowder along with the oyster. All around good experience. Good place to kill an hour or two for drinks and oyster in the area.
