Grew up as a kid playing Avalon. Now I play it a couple times and year and the course itself is always in nice condition. But, why are the greens rolling like a US Open all the time. No reason you should have your greens rolling that fast. Guessing they are like an 11 or 12 on the stimp. Absolutely ridiculous. And 100 bucks is a little steep for a round on Father’s Day. Maybe do something special for the dads! Something to consider!
I've always enjoyed this course. Very beautiful layout and a good challenge to play for many different skill levels. Very well maintained and a very nice clubhouse and staff.
Well worth the drive north! Price is right with 3 different nines (south, north and west are my preferred nines in order) Course seems to be in solid condition all year around with the occasional exception of large maple leaves just off the fairways hiring your tee shot. Great membership offerings, lots of tournaments make me drive past the many more convenient courses for this gem just to the north.
First time playing here a few weeks ago and had a pretty good day. Course is a lot tighter than expected. Not much room for error. Conditions were very dry and greens were super quick. The staff are great here though and would play it again based on the customer service alone.
Excellent staff all around.
The course was in good condition. They have Finn Bikes!! I played 27 holes on the bike and it was a blast!
The chicken ceasar wrap from the Sweet Bite Cafe was the best I've ever had.
I will be going back.
