Been here often. Service ranges from surly to helpful. They're a bit unreliable at times, so I always follow up on anything they say they'll do before I need it.

I've also rented bikes a few times. They weren't always setup properly so I dropped the chain a couple times and had to adjust the suspension myself. They do have some nice bikes and will work with you on the setup if you invest some time before hand and check things out yourself.

Despite the fact they do have experienced bike techs, I have never had a positive customer experience. Each time I have walked in (5+ times) the staff is more condescending than courteous, and service times are poor relative to other shops. Only reason I'm not giving them one star is they occasionally have components in stock that other shops would have to order.

I called a few places around Breckenridge to inquire about mountain bike rentals for use in the downhill/ski areas. These guys spent time with me helping me select a bike that would best fit my 13 year old girls. It was a tough decision, without seeing and riding the bike before hand. When we got there they had the shocks adjusted and everything ready to go for our day of descension. I received the same excellent customer service from both locations. I will definitely rent from these guys again. Thanks Avalanche Sports for helping make a perfect day in the mountains.

$63 for skis and boots for two adults. Helpful staff that took the time to make sure our boots fit correctly, shard tips with us on the proper fit (unlike any other rental I've had anywhere), and all of this with a friendly, non-pretentious demeanor.

We rented a fat bike from them in winter. Prices were lower than other stores, and the service was very friendly. They even helped us adjust the other bike we owned. Their selections of skis and snowboards also looked good.

DO NOT RENT BIKES FROM HERE IF YOU HAVE KIDS!!!!! They don't like them!!!!!! Stopped by to get some information on renting some bikes for the day. We had just gotten into town the night before so as any visitor usually doeswe went exploring the town the next morning. The owner (I'm assuming by the pictures currently posted on Google) told us to get our kids out of here! Not in a nice way but in a toally condescending way followed with an eye roll! On a side note my kids we're doing nothing wrong. They were looking at the bikes and petting the dog not causing any issues! I was taken back by how rude he was! We ended up just walking out! PLEASE DO NOT GIVE HIM YOUR BUSINESS! SOOOO RUDE! This is not a family friendly establishment. Rent from someone else!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!

We have rented ski equipment from this shop for the last six years and plan to rent again this year on our annual trip. They have a good selection of equipment and the staff is always very polite and helpful. They are knowledgeable and quick to offer suggestions on demo level equipment. Great business.

If you are a women be cautious of this place. I like to ride bikes but when it needs to be fixed I like to take it to people that know what they are doing. These people might know what they are doing but they rake you over!! . This place fixed the clutch on the bike and charged me 50 bucks for that repair but said I needed a whole new wheel and hub. He then tried to sell me a bet up wheel for 100 bucks, wasn't worth 20. Try Elevation Bike shop for some honesty.
