I wouldn't even give this place 1 star. The salesman we dealt with was sleezy as could be, and ruined the entire establishment for us. We drove almost 2 hours to see a vehicle that we were told would be held for us. We show up to find out that he's already on a test drive with someone, in the car that was supposed to be held. Then he had the audacity to say if you sign the paperwork before she does (with out us test driving it first) that we get the car. Because she's "between vehicles" so she won't have a choice. That is the dirtiest thing a salesman can do to someone. We declined doing that to her, obviously. So then we were told he has other vehicles he can bring in from their other dealerships, but we have to sign paperwork stating that we would purchase the car beforehand. All that said I wouldn't buy a car from Riley Grant if my life depended on it, maybe they have better sales people, but we weren't sticking around to find out.
I'm remote in TX and sent my College age daughter there. They took great care of her and communicated well with me. I was treated fairly and they quickly fixed the problem at a good price.
Service was awesome. Customer service was awesome too! I got all my questions answered, employees are very knowledgeable. Will definitely go back for any other help i need, or recommend this spot. I really appreciate the courtesy car wash and vac. My car REALLY needed it, thanks guys!
Purchasing my wife's new car turned be a pleasant experience, although at first I was concerned because no one would return our call initially. I had requested a call from the sales chat online for a representative to call me three times. The third time was a charm. I was also upset that we had an appointment to look at a vehicle that wasn't even on their lot It was somewhere else in South Columbus. The new sales person Clayton showed us some other cars and everything turned out to be just fine.
the staff was helpful kameron did everything he could to help and got me out off my old car and into a new jetta great mpg
Brought my Jetta in for the ABS recall, and they kept giving me different answers on how long the work would take to finish every time I called. First they told me they could have it done in 2 days. On the second day they told me they would have it for me the following morning. The next day comes, and they said it would be finished a little bit after lunch. Finally, they called to let me know that it wouldn't be until the evening or the following day before they could get my car back to me. This hasn't been the most confidence-inspiring experience to say the least.
Car was damaged by clean up crew prepping the car for pickup by us. The price of the car was reduced appropriately for us to have the repairs done. We drove 4+ hours to get the car and prior to that the staff was very helpful and accommodating in sending pictures and info about the car. Josephine, Cameron and Brandon were especially helpful. My husband is very happy with his car.
This place suck you should never get your car from here. The manager is the rudest person I've ever met. He was so disrespectful when I was trying to buy my car. He would just sit there on his phone when I would ask him something about a car I really wanted. Then he accepted my offer I offered two days before then when I get there he adds another $2500 dollars on top of my offer due to some " mantiece". But when I asked him what mantiece he just nodded his head. I'm not sure how even still has a job there.
Don't waste your time just go to Montgomery. Fast talking liars work here. More specifically, Bryce. His manager made a shady attempt to resolve the issue by offering his "word" that I could return to any AutoNation and get my battery replaced for free. No contract. Nothing. Yea right. Stay away from this place.
I will think about wether or not to buy from this Dealership or from Volkswagen in the future. I traveled all around the SE US for a Beetle and I ran into dealerships who discriminated against me because I'm disabled. The staff at Columbus AutoNation VW were great at first but after I was demanded work done to my Beetle it became complicated, the staff did what I wanted them to accomplished but their attitude and customer service needs work. Dealerships need to understand when customers feel the purchase or repair work got complicated, they need to be more understanding.
Disappointing experience with service. Make sure you ask very clear questions about what the charges will be before work begins.
1) I called and asked ahead of time what the cost would be for an oil change service for my specific vehicle and was told $89. I guess it's my fault for assuming that the filter and oil were included in this price. Bill ended up at $120.
2) The service rep "slipped" a tire rotation in on me. I showed saying I'm here for an oil change and lube. His response was "Ok, we got you setup for an oil change, lube, and tire rotation." Again, my fault for thinking I could trust them to not slip something in on me like that.
At pickup the service manager immediately had that charge removed when I protested (which was good), but not something that should have even been an issue.
From what I can tell, it seems the mechanics are knowledgeable and do good work, just be very clear on the work to be done and the costs ahead of time.
I highly recommend Autonation VW for your service needs. They are very fast and professional. I have own three VW and always used this location for my service needs. Bryce was excellent!
Took my car in for an oil change. Great service. Fast and all the workers were very kind and helpful
My actual experience the day of service was excellent. Auto Nation VW was easy to find. The service was warranted, etc. The manager was courteous and professional.
The car was there to be "checked out" before a long trip north. On the last leg of the trip, I had all sorts of vehicle "warnings" from the dashboard. After starting the car, it alarmed for low coolant, then no oil pressure, then something else. I turned off the car, let it sit and restarted. No more alarmsfor the last 175 miles. However, the radio-media center acted in a bizarre manner, asking me all sorts of input questions from a screen I've never ever seen.
I will take to dealer here in the North and have it checked before I drive much more.
