I was in a really tight spot and needed an alternator replaced immediately. Called this shop and they were able to get me in the same day and run a diagnostic on the vehicle. They ordered the part and the car was finished by the next morning. They were very quick and professional in their service. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

so far so good. I mean, I like Floyd a lot. I like their transparency. I catch up on reading or daytime TV and they fix my Saab. If they know they can't do it, they'll tell you. Saab's are more and more difficult to find repair people who are confident working on them but the mechanics here never seems overly stressed or particular. If they can do it they will, and if they can't they can't. Reasonable, simply good folks who know how to treat customers without making it over the top and too plush. Just fix my car, that's what i want.

I was able to get a same day appointment and they are also flexible to help work with my schedule. Staffs are very professional and waiting environment is nice. They found out the previous auto shop I went left my power steering pump driver belt and bolt loose and fixed it (squeezing sound went away). Will definitely come back! If you want to have high-quality auto repair/maintenance work to be done and be treated with respect, this is the place to go. They don't charge for diagnostics.

Great experience at AutoChoice! Would recommend to anyone! When my daughter's car died along the road, I had no idea where to have it towed. A Google search showed that AutoChoice had good reviews/rating, so I gave them a call. They have a contract with a local towing company, which made the towing experience stress/hassle free. FIRST PLUS in my book. Upon assessment of the car they determined the issues, and talked through all of them with me before proceeding. SECOND PLUS in my book.
As a woman, I admit that I am intimidated with car issues, I always worry that I am being taken advantage of or the dreadful being talked down to. NEITHER were the case with AutoChoice, they were respectful, and understanding of my many questions. Definitely a good experience, and will definitely use them for any future auto repairs that I may require and will recommend them to anyone.

My wife and I just moved here and right before we moved, I started having car troubles. I was able to get the car down to Bloomington and I called AutoChoice and they were able to get me in the next day. When I went in to get my hood latch fixed, they fixed it quickly and serviced it free of charge! I was so taken aback because I've had some poor experiences with mechanics before. I will be taking both our cars here for all our service needs!

Truly amazing folks work here. I'm a college student and hardly know anything about cars. These guys went the extra mile for me and I'm grateful I can find honest places like this one, especially since service centers are not known to hold the most truthful people. Thank you endlessly!

GO HERE! Especially if you're a woman. I totally agree with the other reviews--was holding off on repairs because I'm *so* tired of being taken advantage of by mechanics, but these guys are *awesome.* Kind and patient. They fit me in at the drop of a hat, they explained everything that was going on with my car when I asked (with pictures, even!), and they're charging me a reasonable rate all around. I am THRILLED to have found my mechanic here in Bloomington.

ATTENTION YOUNG COLLEGE WOMEN: AutoChoice Service Center in Bloomington was absolutely wonderful. As a young blonde woman, I commonly receive sexist and degrading comments when trying to get car work done. HOWEVER the men who work at AutoChoice were completely fantastic to me and my car! They were 100% professional and respectful. They acknowledged my comments about what I thought was wrong with the vehicle, and let me know what I indeed thought was wrong was the problem. They charged me a fair price, didn't take advantage of my lack of detailed car knowledge, and gave me tips and advice for things to do for my car in the upcoming future. My car was fully serviced and returned to me within 24 hours, for work that other shops told me would take days to do.

ALSO - I received free chocolate mints, and a flashlight keychain. I highly recommend them for any car repair!!!!

When the battery light in my truck came on I went online and looked for the shop with the highest reviews in the area. The more reviews the better. After reading reviews of multiple businesses, I went over the negative reviews to make sure they weren't assigning "one star" for silly reasons. Many of them were. Many seemed legit. In the end the strongest reviews led me to AutoChoice.

I told them on the phone the battery was dead and when I attempted to drive it to the shop, even though it's a manual transmission, the engine stopped pulling in all gears. They said it could be the alternator but might also involve the transmission.

After a tow truck dropped it off, they looked at my truck and confirmed the 18 year old alternator needed replacing. I searched alternator replacement for my truck year and model and their price was right at the bottom end, the less expensive range. I was surprised how fair it was. I gave them the go-ahead to do the work and they told me it would take two days to get the alternator in, install it, and test the transmission.

After only 24 hours they called me and told me the work was done, the transmission was fine, and I could come and pick it up right then and there. Very good news. Done a day early and they did not try to sell me any extra work. Glad to have found what looks to be a reliable shop with excellent prices.

We took our Accord there because it was not blowing any heat. I had just replaced the thermostat and flushed the heater core, and no change. So we took it to Auto Choice to get their opinion, the mechanic diagnosed the hose temps, and jacked up the front end of the car to remove any air pockets that may not have been bled out during my flush and refills. That's what it took and the car is blowing heat once again. Best of all they decided not to charge us a dime since they didn't replace anything, even after I asked again if they didn't require payment, they insisted. These are great mechanics and business people, not very many people do anyone favors anymore.

Best people ever. Saved me $1000. I am a girl and the other place I tried said $2000 minimum and replace all the brakes system front and back. These guys are honest, and explained everything completed the repair and never treated me like a target because I am female. Then they worked with me every step of the way! I had several personal problems come up and they supported me and assisted me the whole way through. These are the guys you can trust with your grandmothers car! I will NEVER go anyplace else. Fair, honest, fast and the best customer service I have ever received! I would give these guys 10 stars if I could. They went above and beyond so many times in so many ways. Very respectful honest polite! Everything you want and need in a car repair service! Thanks so much for all your excellent help and services.
