Extraordinary sunsets moonlight and sunrises.. Built in 1911 especially for just that.. the best of all of Ohio in my estimation
Went to a wedding here. It was pretty but felt they could have made it a little more comfy for guest with the temperatures.
A nice urban park. Nice walking area. Nice criterium series here in June.
I chose to drive a minute further down the road to park and ended up stumbling upon a trailhead that turned out to be AMAZING! It’s unassuming from the entry point but contains (at my estimation) probably 10-20 offshoot trails within the forest, of varying degrees of difficulty and shrubbery. There is also a creek that runs through and many woodland creatures - we saw many squirrels and birds.
Beautiful park and great views. A lot of people take wedding and prom pictures here at the lookout. They also host an annual fireworks show around the 4th of July.
I only saw the structured gardens here, but they were lovely. There was a wedding, so we couldn't use the restrooms we wanted to use. They mayhave had soap, but the ones we had to hike to next did not.
We hady daughter's wedding here. The on-site helper Molly was awesome and very helpful. The venue at the pavilion was beautiful at night. The sunset and the dramatic lighting of the pillars was beautiful.
Had our engagement photos shot here. Absolutely beautiful. Old stone structures. Great views. Amazing hikes as well. Beautiful place and well maintained.
One of the most gorgeous and expansive parks I've been to. You can enjoy the carefully crafted inviting architecture and floral arrangements or go hiking through a series of trails ranging in difficulty. If you come to Cincinnati, check this out!
So pretty! The fact they discourage dogs is not nice though, I understand the very pretty flowers but then not allow dogs off leash but my dog (not following the posted rules) didn't even go near the flowers and just enjoyed the smells and long walk. I am also an out of town visitor but still it came up in Google search for dog parks but very anti-dog. Disappointing for such a nice park that allows people to do yoga in string bikinis but no dogs
Wonderful gardens, hiking trails, picnic areas overlooking Lunken, and a playground for kids. A descent sledding hill in winter, and event venue for weddings/concerts. The central playfield usually has a game of frisbee in summer months. Be sure to note the diverse trees and fauna planted along the outer rim of the park.
I love this park very nice park with good views, its also a nice place to walk,I used to live right by here on observatory place and used to go up there all the time.
Great scenic trails to hike/run. My wife and I even took some engagement photos here around the main structures. It hosts 5k races, car shows, and concerts. There is always something to enjoy.
The pavilion where we sometimes price Tai Chi is just a heavenly place. Opened to the breeze and protected by the thick layer of stones, it stays naturally cool and has a beautiful view.
