Michelle was wonderful to work with! She assisted in narrowing down and ultimately finding a perfect spot for our son that was in our budget. Thank you Michelle!

Working with Mary for my daughter's apartment was so easy! She was so helpful and wonderful to work with. We're looking forward her moving in this upcoming fall, 2022!

I had a wonderful experience working with ARPM over the past several months! My salesperson, Mary was personable, reliable, efficient and kind as she helped me with my renting needs in finding an apartment. Mary's colleagues who I also dealt with during the process had the same quality of customer service! I'm so appreciative and thank you so much.

I called the office this morning and had the pleasure to speak with Darla Greenland in the finance office. My daughter’s apartment access on her phone had stopped working while she was away for the weekend and Darla immediately offered to get a resolution. Within minutes, she had looped the IT team in and the situation was resolved. On behalf of Lindsey and I, kudos to Darla for making a challenging situation so simple and for helping us this morning when we desperately needed it. It’s much appreciated.

So Far So Good!!! My daughter and her roommates worked with Mary Quick in regard to finding an off campus apartment. Mary took the time to make sure they were comfortable with the location of the apartment and made sure they understood the process. She answered every question they had as well as our questions. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a person who not only knows the market but also takes the time to make sure it is a good fit for the prospective tenants.

Ms. Mary Quick at ARPM went out of her way to help my daughter, who is attending Penn State Univ., to fill out an application to lease an apartment. She was very patient, caring, thoughtful and kind in helping us to choose the apartment that is most suited for my daughter's needs. Then, once we got the listed apartment, she was very flexible, accommodating and friendly in showing us the unit. Even though we came from Maryland, these great qualities she had, was indeed a blessing as we did not feel out of place at all! She made us so comfortable, as such I sincerely hope that every realty agent out there use Mary as a role model.

I loved leasing my new apartment from ARPM! Every time I called the office they were extremely polite and answered my extensive questions without hesitation. All email responses were prompt and packed with all the information I needed to make an informed decision about the unit. I especially loved getting to take my tour with Heather. She was so kind and patient with my mother and I while we, again, asked tons of questions. Would recommend to all my friends!

I have been associated with Associated Realty Property Management for over 30 years. I own a condo in downtown State College that is rented to students and ARPM has managed it the entire time. They handle every aspect of the process rental market analysis, advertising, lease preparation, monthly rent collection, repairs, maintenance, upgrades, and excellent communication with the owners. Every year it is a seamless transition from one group of tenants to another. I would not have anyone else handle the management of the condo. 5 Star for sure.

July 2017: I could go on and on with this awful review, but there's not enough time in the day. To make things short, they're charging me for something that should've been taken care of prior to my move in. On top of that, they're charging me for not paying this charge, and better yet, they didn't even notify me about this even after I had called them to let them know I needed to be notified. Tip for future renters: take pictures of everything in the apartment before you even settle in. I literally mean EVERYTHING. That way you will have proof of the condition of the apartment and how everything was. Also, make copies of every form they give you just in case you need to pull it out for proof. I don't know how this realtor is still in business. I'm surprised no one has tried to sue them.

Oct. 2017: The office has responded, and I cannot respond to them, but this situation was taken off of my account, but when I received my security deposit back $70 suddenly went missing. It was listed as a late fee for not paying the charge that wasn't my responsibility. When I had officially moved out, I had double checked via phone call into their office if there were any charges I should be aware of, and of course when I finally get the security deposit back, they would find a way to take money out. I have emailed them numerous amounts of time, and they still haven't gotten back to me about this situation.

ARPM does a great job with off campus housing for University Park students. They have several properties at various price points and all are clean and safe. The contract stipulations are clearly listed and the management are always available for assistance.

On move-in weekend of the Fall 2017 semester one of the sprinkler systems went off and flooded most of my son's apartment. I would like to commend the maintenance staff for their quick response in getting the emergency clean up company to the apartment on a Saturday night to vacuum up the water and bring in large fans to dry the walls. On Monday I was in contact with the maintenance supervisor Tammie Coudriet who answered all my questions and concerns. I then spoke to her several times in the next few days while she worked to ensure the apartment went back to normal. I'm very grateful to her for her expertise, kindness, and efficiency.

Some of the associates are friendly and willing to help but the receptionist and the lady responsible for addressing apparently matters does NOT wait and here out the problems of each renter if they actually listened there would be less wait times.

What a terrific group of people at ARPM! I was coordinating a lease for the up coming year. My son was out of state in a different tome zone so things got a bit complicated. Thanks to Mary, Michelle, and Christopher I was able to complete the transaction. They answered all my calls, suggested solutions for my situation and went above and beyond to help meall the while being extremely friendly! I am truly impressed and grateful for their hard work!

I have had the opportunity to both rent, and work alongside, the founder and CEO of Associated Realty Property Management, Mark Bigatel. He is honest, hard-working, reliable, and astute in all of his business dealings. The property, to which we rent from his company, is both affordable and well-managed. The company is quick to respond to our needs and the staff is both friendly and respectful. Over the course of three years, I have nothing but positive to say about Associated Realty Property Management. This is an outstanding company to which my partner and I hold in high esteem.

The worse service you will ever get. The women are rude (especially on the phone) and they don't try to help you. I honestly think they should get shut down. I recommend a&w over arpm.

Do not deserve one star. The office staff that answer the phone are always rude and hang up on you without before you can even say the word "bye". When I moved in there were hole in the kitchen area, where spiders have been coming out, and burn marks on the rug, which I am sure they will charge me for when I move out. Literally would rather stay in hell. Even with the spider problem, I like the location and my neighbors are not very nosy. Still, I would rather suffer through living in a dorm room closet than deal with the terrible customer service these people can. I don't call for your attitude, I call for assistance. You chose your job, do not take it out on me that you are unhappy with what you do.

I am giving this rental company 3/5 stars instead of 1/5 stars because of one team member on their staff. Mary. She went above and beyond after I thought my case was a lost cause. I received a notice saying that I owed a balance instead of receiving part of my security deposit back. I tried to communicate with the company because in their notice it said NO PHONE OR EMAIL INQUIRIES, MUST BE BY MAIL. I drafted a memo and sent it the following day asking for someone to contact me and explaining the situation. No one ever did. I emailed someone and they said they would pass on my information and never did. They did not answer my calls, I was hung up on, put on hold then dropped. After being threatened to effect my credit (through a mailed memo) I just paid to balance to due ways with this company. After the balance was paid, Mary received all my information almost 2 months after she or someone should have and followed up with me. I am still awaiting on the final conclusion but I believe Mary went above and beyond to hopefully get me part of my deposit back. She is a true All Star on this team and that is coming from a Hospitality Professional. Thank You Mary.

A student coworker of mine just told me that she came back from summer break with a 12 month lease in good standing and that when she went in all of her personal items had been thrown out including her winter clothes she left there, personal effects like artwork and high school yearbooks and stuffed animals, and other items that should have made it obvious that the place was not abandoned by a student too lazy to pack up things. I told her to sue them through student legal services. I wish I could give zero stars to this place. They apparently gave her (and two roommates) notice by taping a note to the door when all of them were back at home. No phone call, no email, no postal letter. Nothing! I've heard from other student coworkers about shabby conditions, poor service, and rude staff, but this story takes the cake!
